Short body makes it very suitable for old glazed doors with a narrow stile.The latch has an additional soft close trip mechanism. On closing it assists the main latch going into the body, giving a soft close effect.

No difference in fitting then any other latch. Looks well made and the extra feature does work but won't stop a solid wood door slamming shut.

Fits the thinnest of wooden summer house doors and very easy to fit.

Listed as 40mm even had 40mm stamped on it but was actually 35mm !!!

Good latch with a smooth mechanism and the size is perfect for what I need it for, but there is no strike plate included so I've had to find one elsewhere.

NB: this item is of rectangular cross section. If you are replacing a latch with exactly the same dimensions but which has rounded 'shoulders', a bit of woodworking will be needed to get it to fit.

Easy to install, comes with everything you need apart from screwdriver ofc.I only had an issue with one latch which is now sorted and is the highest quality latch in my home….kind of makes me want to upgrade all the other ones.Feels very smooth and consistent. Worth the price.

Ein passender Ersatz für meine Bodenluke. Die alte Verriegelung schließt leider nicht mehr. Besonders praktisch finde ich den zusätzlichen Federmechanismus, welcher das einschnappen deutlich unterstützt. Viele Türen haben nur eine Abschrägung. Je nachdem wie leichtgängig solche Schnapper sind und wieviel Reibung am Schließblech entsteht lassen sich Türen manchmal nur schwer schließen. Durch die zusätzliche Feder fährt der Schnappe alleine zurück. Das ist auch für meine Bodenluke ein absolutes Upgrade, weil man diese nun nur noch nach oben drücken muss. Ich freue mich, dass ich hier funktionierenden Ersatz gefunden habe. Die Metallplatte hat im Sichtbereich eine Schutzfolie, damit der Schnappe nach dem Einbau auch noch richtig neu aussieht. Prima Produkt.
