A great classic game and we really enjoyed playing it. But the pegs keep falling out! So annoying. As I placed a peg in, others fell out, which meant we no longer had an accurate record of where opponents ships were and weren’t. I was super careful but still some fell out. Will try and work out a fix for the problem, maybe dip the tips in superglue to make them bigger. We angled the boards slightly to continue our game, but pegs still fell out, as they are barely in the holes even when pushed fully in. Next time we will place pegs in lower board and put ships on vertical board (although the ships will need the pegs enlarged too, but at least there are only 5 of them!).

This was a game I enjoyed in my youth so I purchased it as a gift for my sons. It’s good to play as the game itself hasn’t changed however it feels much more flimsy and the pegs fall out so easily which is very annoying mid play. For this reason it wouldn’t really work as a travel game but having brought this in the Christmas sales I’m not too disappointed.

We got it as a gift for our 6-year old who has a cheaply bought version of this game. Much better made, sturdy, parts fit well (no issue with parts getting stuck - which happens a lot with the cheaply bought one which can ruin the entire game!). Bought it during Black Friday sale, so definitely value for money.

Went retro for the kid’s pressies this year as they have so many electronics already. Plenty of games played and will last years. Good value.

the classic game of battleships. comes as 2 units that lock together for easy portability. very simple rules, a large dollop of chance and some nautical based trash talking ensure hours of fun for gamers of all ages.
