Greatest Battery ever made
I like and trust Smallrig, this V-Mount battery was a life saver when going on shoots, I would use this as the main battery for my camera and two regular sized back up batteries. This has USB, USB-C, DC Output, and D-Tap. I use the D-tap to power my monitor. This battery can also be used to charge phones too and that is what I have been using it lately for work whenever I need to charge my work phone this comes in handy. I also like the LED screen showing what percentage the battery is at before needing to be charged. One full charge of this V-Mount battery lasts a couple to few days for smartphones(depending on usage) and like a couple to three hours for a camera (depending what camera you are using this for. 10/10 recommend this product and any product by Smallrig

Lightweight and lasts all day
The SmallRig VB50 V-Mount battery is a huge upgrade from the 99 — it’s super light, which makes a big difference when I’m running my RS3 Pro gimbal all day at weddings. Despite being lighter, it still has plenty of power to keep me shooting all day without swapping batteries. Super reliable and easy to use with my setup.

In use for over a year! Hasn’t missed a beat.
Can’t go wrong! Charges fast and will power your small Mirrorless camera rig all day. I’ve owned a few of these for almost 2 years and they haven’t missed a beat!

Stopped Charging after 3 mos
UPDATE: SmallRig simply asked for my order # and within 2 days received a refund. I've used these guys since 2013 when they first started and have always championed their products. That's not changing simply because I got a bit of bad luck with a bunk item. UPDATE2: Back to the actual product though I wanted to add. While it was working it was great. Amazingly compact, and I couldn't imagine a more perfect size for a run and gun field setup, I use a BMPCC 4k and I would have liked to see just a BIIIT more battery life from it. I can get about 50-60mins of recording time over the course of a 3-4 hour runtime if I pay attention and turn my cmaera off during longer breaks (greater than 10 minutes or so). If it's on the whole time and I"m just on sticks waiting to hit record and pause it's more like 2 hours. So just be aware that if you're going to be on sticks to either make sure you have a battery in the camera to switch out the v-mount, or go with the 99Wh battery. Other than that, it's an almost perfect battery. Brought the battery out of its storage place for a shoot the next day and low and behold it won't charge. Have reached out to SmallRig for a replacement, will update as needed

This is Why I have more than one
Bought one for the first time, and bought it 2 more times. These are solid batteries, and they are very high quality as expected from Smallrig. I was skeptical when smallrig decided to jump into making batteries, but without a doubt I was very sure that they would maintain their quality no matter what products are being manufactured. These batteries are insanely durable and very sleek. They provide a discrete look with their minimal design, and hold a very good charge. One battery will get me through an entire wedding days shoot. Though I wouldn't trust it 100% for an entire days shoot, it has been reliable and convinced me to get another one. Highly recommended for any videographer just to have in your aresenal.

Great for my videography
So I recently got into videography earlier this year. I wanted to start a youtube or something similar, just creating small short films and whatever. I shoot on a Sony A6400 (kind of a dinosaur by now) and the battery life on that thing when filming is maybe an hour or two, depending on the size of the flicks. The Smallrig battery extends that by so much. On a full charge I was able to film for around 4 hours, dropping the life down to only 67% (not including the camera's leftover battery). Now, I'm only charging the camera itself when filming, so I can't attest for multiple ports being used, but this works incredibly well for me. If you want to save some weight and don't want to use a dedicated battery on a field monitor then this should work perfectly for you - assuming you're not shooting 10 hour days. Now, for ease of use, you do have to get the slider bracket and 15mm rods and blah blah blah, which sets you back another $100 or so OR you can just put the battery in your pocket or bag and string a long micro USB or USB-C cord to it and will do just fine. Super easy to use, literally just plug and play. In conclusion, if you're just filming small stuff as a hobby, I'd personally save some money and just grab some extra batteries for your camera but if you're really getting into filming and wanting to get more serious about it, I would totally recommend this piece.

Love this battery, watch the fluctuating prices on this one. Sometimes it's $125 sometimes it's $189
I drink the Kool-Aid and I am a Small Rig enthusiast that has every little doo dad this company makes. The build is usually solid, and the design and execution is pretty innovative. I have 3 of these now. One I bought at $189, the other day I saw it for $130 so I snatched that up. I saw it for $125 two days ago so I tried to return it so I can save $5. Then I saw the price back up again when I tried to get it for cheap. The Amazon Algorithms/AI are messing with me probably. Probably doesn't help that I am talking smack now. Other than the price fluctuations the batteries are great, but I am looking at it from both a design and utilitarian perspective. Cheaper Brands probably will yield the same results performance wise.

Needed a 50w vmount for my car rig, fits perfectly and is light compared to my 99w and 150w V-mounts, works as advertised and great for a smaller form factor that requires a vmount

Funcionó una sola vez. La quise cargar una segunda y solo carga un par de segundos antes de apagarse. Ahora no la puedo devolver.
