I ordered these for mixing/storage bowls and I think they're going to work excellently for that--that is if I can get them away from my adult children long enough to try that!In the meantime they can be played like either drums or bells, take your pick. They make wonderful sounds with both hands and wooden spoons, and of course being graduated sizes no two are going to sound alike. As a plus the silicone bottoms hold them still while using them as instruments and I can tell already the thick steel walls will last a while before showing much damage from being hit with the wooden spoons.P.S. While they were being unpackaged we were inspecting each one, and they sure are shiny on the inside! A little too shiny, perhaps, since if you aren't careful you'll get blinded trying to read the measurement lines. The outside is a nice brushed finish, and the lids seem to fit really well, snuggling down just inside the top of the bowl.

I LOVE these bowls! LOL, never been excited about mixing bowls before, but I have always had plastic. Plus, we travel full time in a 5th wheel, and I have been using the collapsible silicon bowls, but hated them, and loved the space saving they offered. These bowls sit nicely inside each other and the lids fit inside each other right on top. Perfect for RV's, and they clean up easy. The rubber bottom keeps them from slipping, perfect bowls.

These 5 sets mixing bowls are so far the best bowls I’ve purchased!! I love that it has rubber under it so it won’t slip when you are mixing something. It also has 5 pieces lid in each bowls which perfectly fit and close nicely. It is stainless steel so no worries for rust and won’t break. Overall I love this product and will definitely recommend it.

These bowls are "thick" and feel sturdy when using them. The nicest thing is the rubber bottom that keeps the bowl from slipping and sliding while using it on smooth surfaces. Great value for the money.My only complaint is that the lids showed up a little deformed and didn't want to stay on. After using them a bit, they loosened up and will stay closed though, so not a deal breaker.

Talk about love...I got these and have not stopped using. They are so practical and useful. The lids close tightly and they are perfect for seasoning meat and leaving to marinate for a day or two. Truly one of my best buys that I don't want to tell anyone else about as I want to keep them to myself. :)

These bowls are pretty good quality and nest perfectly. The silicone bottoms are well-made and do a great job of gripping the counter. I like the variety of sizes, but it's really hard to get the lids to close because you have to push them down into the bowl; they don't snap over the rim. Half the time I can't do it all the way. I wish the steel was more scratch resistant.

Wonderful product. I really liked it. The bowls are thick and sturdy and the silicon base is of real good quality. Aso the lid fits in properly. Nice bowls for serving salads, making dough and also to refrigerate food.
