Perfect to see if I wanted to invest more into candle making. I used 90%-ish filtered beeswax and beeswax coated hemp wicks. I sprayed pure olive oil cooking spray to lightly coat inside before pouring. Helped them release easily. And sealed the bottom wick hole with moldable wax to prevent seeping around the wick. I’ve used both molds twice so far and they’ve worked great! Fits well into my taper candle holders.

I was so excited about this product. I loved the sturdy, stand alone design. Easy to set the wicks up, seemed like a no brainer. I coated the inside with oil before I poured, I did all the things I could have possibly done and was never able to remove the candles from the mold.

Both molds have little nicks on the side, one of the molds doesn’t have a big enough hole for the taper mold. The wick can not fit through the hole made for the wick. They also came looking a little cloudy which leads me to think it’s dirty
