I can't honestly say too much about this specific item yet. I ordered it to hopefully ease some of my menopause symptoms, such as hormonal issues, hot flashes and mood changes, but because the symptoms can disappear for a few weeks and then get bad again, etc., I haven't had enough time to make any consistent observations about whether these help or not. I've taken other herbs for menopausal symptoms which can help a lot though, so I'm optimistic. Otherwise, the capsules and color looks good, no strange odors, good packaging, all of these things are true for all Purely Holistic items that I've used.As for this brand generally, they seem to be a great combination of quality and price. I've used a number of products from them, their B-Complex, Magnesium Glycinate, Vitamin C, Olive Leaf Extract, Calcium and maybe others and have reordered almost all of them. So I'm looking forward to seeing if I feel any benefits of Chasteberry, but I can honestly recommend the Purely Holistics brand regardless.

I only review things I truly want others to know about.I have been a customer of Purely Holistic for years and every product I use has been excellent (and I use over 9 different supplements of theirs daily or weekly.) I have a very sensitive digestive system and have to be very careful of the supplements I take. That said, I have never had a Purely Holistic supplement upset my system.Purely Holistic is a company that cares and takes pride in their products. They are always on the lookout for products that will benefit their customers.If you go to their website and get on their email list, they will inform you of new products. When I received my email about Purely Holistic Chasteberry Vitex Supplement, I was ecstatic! This product came at a PERFECT time for me. I am turning 50 this summer and have begun to have some hormonal changes that have noticeably affected my attitude (much to my husband and sons' dismay!)The day my 2 bottles arrived (yes, I immediately ordered 2 bottles because I have been with Purely Holistic so long, I am always sure the product is going to be great,) I opened one of the bottles and popped a capsule down the gullet. This was 2-18-23 (I write the starting date on all of my bottles.) I have done this every morning (with breakfast) for close to 3 weeks.I have not had any negative affects like; raw or upset stomach, or any other adverse symptoms.Benefits: I noticed a change in my attitude almost immediately. The following day, I was noticeably calmer and not snapping at my family as much. My monthly "girl problem" was only 3 days from starting the Chasteberry Vitex Supplement but, amazingly, my cramps and flow were greatly reduced. (I haven't had an issue with cramps or heavy flow most of my life, but about 6 months ago, both increased drastically, which led me to believe perimenopause was the culprit.) NIGHT SWEATS: I did not even realize that my night sweats have subsided until I started writing this review! I have been waking up almost drenched for months now - even in the middle of winter with the house heat set to 65 degrees!) and, as I type this, I realize I haven't woken up hot in at least a week - maybe even more! HOT FLASHES: just like the night sweats, I just now realize that my hot flashes have subsided. I have noticed I have been cold lately (needing long pants and socks) where I haven't before (and our weather has been high 60's during the day and 40's to 50's at night, so it should be natural for me to need the warmer clothes.)All that to say, this is definitely a keeper for me and, yet another reason to stay faithful to Purely Holistic!**Just a note: I do not take any prescription meds and only take OTC pain relief when absolutely necessary. I take a natural thyroid supplement and 20 mg of CBD (no THC) daily, along with my other Purely Holistic supplements. My family stays away from junk food, GMO, TBHQ, BHT, all artificial sweeteners and we drink distilled water from our personal distiller (using our distilled water to make our ice, coffee and iced tea as well.) I say this because some people will take supplements and the supplements may seem like they don't work. It may not be the supplement. It could be the toxins in your body from prescription meds and diet hindering the benefits of the supplement. This does not mean supplements will not work - it just means you may need to take them longer to notice the benefits. Everyone should plan on 4-6 weeks of taking a new supplement before seeing benefits, although some may notice it well before that, depending on their lifestyle.Hope this helps!!

I read that chasteberry could provide relief for depression and emotional instability surrounding your cycle. I have been buying all kinds of supplements and reading lots of books and I haven’t found anything that provided relief. I bought this supplement praying it would help. It seemed to calm me down, but I could not take it regularly because of the extreme nausea and bloating it caused. I’m really glad it’s worked for a lot of people but it doesn’t work for me. If I could go back in time I would’ve gotten a small sample of it… now I’m stuck with a whole bottle and I can’t take it:(
