A Ruck-worthy addition!
The Kalawen kept my water cold - not ice cold - but the days temperature was close to 100 degrees the day I took it with me on a 13 mile ruck. The straw attachment is absolutely great for on-the-go drinking. The lid will leak if it it is not completely tightened, and it does take a bit of elbow grease to tighten the lid securely. The shoulder strap, handle, and grips are great for a secure ride while walking. This is a great, inexpensive alternative to the $65+ "military" style canteens on the market.

Does great
I bring this out every morning to the ranch. Keeps my water cool all morning, and I use no ice. Well built. I like that it came with extra lid and a straw. The nylon case is well built too. It'll get rolling around in the bed of the measure mule and shows no wear. Why pay more for a fancy logo when this does great? I won't.

Felt a little cheated.
I love this water/hydration bottle in every way. I say I fealt cheated because I only received one straw and one type of lid when the add shows different, small non deal changing issue. I didn't assume the hardware would be up to any kind of actual real world abuse but so far that assumption has proven inaccurate, no issues and holds up to a full bottle being tossed from shoulder to shoulder back to hand on handle through several hikes and refills. The zipper dosent catch like other cheaply made ones often do and the pouch fits a full size 10,000mah power bank or a one plus8 pro cell phone with room for a charger and it's cord plus several fun size candy ba... cough, cough, protein bars I ment (arrrgh clears throat) you would not be disappointed if you made this purchase and I completely recommended this I am even buying more as gifts because who doesn't need more hydration, I know who... Nobody is who.

Exactly what I was looking for
The bottle keeps my ice water cold for hours. The cover is convenient. The bottle seems strong and durable. I like non-straw bottles, so I've only used that set up. It does comes with both cap setups though. I'm happy with my decision to buy it over the "name brand" that's another $15-20.

Honestly mediocre for the price.
It seems awesome when you get it, but the lids and sleeve aren’t very well built, I’ve only had the bottle for a few months and I’ve broken the inside of both lids from it falling 3 feet. The sleeve started ripping in the first week. It did great while it lasted but why even make a super solid water bottle if you’re just going to make the lid out of cheap material. Oh, also the braided handle never stays fastened. I highly recommend it if it’s going to sit on your desk… but for the working man, if it’s gonna go on jobs and possibly be tossed around I think you should look further.
