Man’s A Legend!
Honestly, there’re very, very few who’ve written books like these. It’s a niche genre & it’s hugely popular. In all honesty, I believe if R.G. Could knock out ‘a book a year’ in quantity, people would buy them, every year!I’ve purchased all of the books both in paperback & digitally because: having these books in your pocket is quite simply a tactical advantage in so many ways in daily life. If you can only afford to do one or the other—go for digital. It tends to be cheaper & you’ve the flexibility of a ‘pocket’ library at your finger tips!Dear Robert, I know you are busy & living your life; however, if you feel like upping your releases to one every 24 months, I’m there, with you; buying those titles!

For fans of Robert Greene
I had already read several of Robert Greene's books when I bought this and so I knew that I was probably going to enjoy this book - and I have. At the beginning and end of each chapter there is a synopsis which you can read first to get a feel for the chapter before you start. For fans of Robert Greene's work this would be a good addition to their library

Fantastic
I thought 48 Laws of Power was a brilliant book but didn't manage to plough my way through the Art of Seduction. However, just reading the title I knew I had to buy The 33 Strategies of War.And it is brilliant, I'm just 20 pages away from the end of the book now.One thing I have found is that the book makes you think very deeply, remembering events in the past and how you might have applied these strategies to make things happen differently, so I find it's better to read when you are fully awake in the morning rather than last thing at night. I have found that if I try and read too much at once then I don't get so much value out of it because each chapter is worth thinking about in detail. It does make you rather Machiavellian in your everyday thinking and you do need to think about your own sense of morality and make sure the book doesn't corrupt you.For this reason I suspect that just like 48 Laws of Power I will also be periodically re-reading this book for years to come.

A Masterpiece
A real work of art. Very distinctive in its approach to 'battle tactics' applicable to the micro and macro of human relationships. The book is also sophisticated in content detail and writing style. I will be keeping it in my armoury in dealing with the baffles of human nature. Another gem by Robert Greene.

33 Strategies of War
Robert Greenes book on the 33 Strategies of War is an ideal companion to the 49 Laws and really does apply to the modern society. I am becoming more aware and caught up in the clique world of office politics. A common encounter within the work place is bullying and harassment within large or small organisations where I have witnessed and experienced insincere work colleagues and managers who conspire, to get ahead without trying. As whistle blowing gets the victim into more trouble than the perpetrator I find Greenes books in general can act as a compass to help navigate and find solutions to many difficulties of social interactions inside the workplace and other everyday encounters.I am taking time to read the 33 strategies because like a game of chess use it as a guide to plan ahead and anticipate counter measures within the work place. Given today's high pressure push button 'me me selfish society' , the 33 strategies of war is indispensable to the honest hard working person who needs to get ahead in life without being dumped on as a pushover. Fight or flight, Greenes 33 Strategies really does teach you to learn covert stealth interpersonal dynamic strategy to double bluff and secure victory, however great or small. I rate this book 10 out of 10.
