A lovely crunchy gherkin.
These are my favourite gherkins by a long way.The flavour is sweet and sour, slightly erring towards the sweet, but at only 7.7% sugar, it's not in any way terrible. They are gherkin halves, so are equally great in a sandwich or on a salad. The gherkin juice is simply divine. It makes a fantastic base for a salad dressing. Just mix with mayonnaise and a teaspoon of mustard, give it a good shake, for a lovely creamy dressing. If you're feeling really adventurous, add a tablespoon or two to a Bloody Mary.It makes for a fantastic, summer drink.I hope you found this review helpful.

Sweet, crunchy, gently acidic, and flavoured with dill.
Very lovely pickled cucumber "spears". These are lengthwise cut wedges of cucumber. The pickling liquid is not strongly acidic but quite sweet. The cucumber wedges are sweet, crunchy and have a dominance of dill flavouring. Very nice, great with salad and cheese. My only let-down with these is that when first opened they are nice and crunchy but after only a week they start to lose their crunch. The liquid levels drop down below the tops of the spears as the jar starts to empty, which is probably part of the problem. It also means they won't keep so well once they are no longer fully submerged in the pickling vinegar solution. So an opened jar needs eating fairly fast. I think this would be avoidable by buying the jars of cucumber rounds instead of spears, but I like to eat these from the jar as a snack so the spears are a convenient shape for that. Trade off, I guess!

Superb taste
I wasn't sure what to expect with these as the flavour of pickled cucumbers can vary so much depending on the preserving mix. These are the ones I have been looking for. They aren't dominated by vinegar, pepper, chilli etc but just right and far away from being bland. The preserving mix brings out the flavour of what can often be an almost tasteless vegetable.Great accompaniment to most meals especially in the warmer months.Once drained they work superbly in salads and sandwiches too.

Ok, but not great value.
The flavour of these is ok, but you don't get much for your money. Usually are of gherkins contain at least ten-eleven individual gherkins, whereas all the slices in this one probably add up to 1 1/2 at most. The middle tends to be a bit soggy as the vinegar dissolves it. The jars are also quite small.

Fabulous Flavor and Price
I love these pickles. I buy them in the US and as an expat in the UK I was glad I could purchase them on Amazon. The flavor is sweet and not overwhelming with vinegar like the British pickles seem to be. They're more similar to the bread and butter pickles but in spears.

Pleasant taste, if a little sweet
I got about 14 fairly thick slices in the jar. When tasting them, the first thing I noticed is that they are sweeter than your average gherkin/pickled cucumber. It's a mild sweetness, as you still get the sharper taste later on. The added dill is a nice touch but that is very mild (pleasant). Recommended, unless you detest any sweetness.
