I purchased the large size, 42-47cm, my thighs where they start are 44cm, however, after a couple of hours wear these became fairly uncomfortable due to the tightness at the top. I needed to keep them on for my knees and when I did eventually take them off my thighs were quite sore afterwards.The quality is really good for the price & the fit everywhere else is fine, so this is disappointing as I doubt the XL will give the necessary support to the knee.

I had twisted my knee and needed some support, this item was great! I've had several in the past which were OK, but newer technologies are even better. This support washes very well too. I highly recommend, if you need to be on your feet all day at work, as I do, the comfort and support are superb.

These provide a decent amount of support and compression, but my only grumble is that the edges are folded over a bit thickly, so they dig in a bit while wearing them so can get a bit uncomfortable when worn for a long time. But - this is probably common for these types of supports
