45w LED Batten Lights 5ft, 150cm, 4000k Natural White, IP20 LED Fluorescent Strip Light Fitting for Ceiling of Home & Office, Workshop & Garage Lighting, Pack of 2

Put six of these up in my double garage.Excellent lighting from floor to ceiling (8ft of drop), and good coverage in terms of the light cone.Easy instal, although you will need to buy junction boxes to adjoin to existing cable runs.

I purchased the pair of batten lights to replace a traditional ceiling light fixture holder with two 40W bulbs. The Battens arrived well packaged with accessories and instructions. Fitting them was straight forward (depending on your desired configuration there is some measuring and care to be taken E.G. isolating the circuit) with the fixtures provided. The Battens are also light so easy to manipulate and can be adjusted to line them up (if using as pair) fairly easily. For my installation I additionally purchased some cabling and ducting/housing to create a H type configuration from the single ceiling power point (see photo). When in use the room is now very well lit.

Replaced an old fluorescent light with 2x5ft LED lights, these lights are easy to install and light in weight so easy to handle, these units are energy efficient and extremely bright only down side is the fixing brackets are a bit weak and flimsy but do the job, overall very happy with my purchase and will be buying again when I get round to replacing the loft lights.

I really liked this product. They come in packs of 2. It was unfortunate that the package arrived damaged and one of the lights did not work. The clips for installation were missing as were any instructions. The package itself was hard durable material but both ends were torn off and missing. I would recommend this product as the one light worked really well. Delivery time was 3 weeks from order and I couldn’t wait that long. Unfortunately I had to return it and shop local.

I ordered 2 off these. Delivery was great. Found that one was only working on one side and so informed the Company with accompanying photo. They replaced it without question and I received the replacement the following day. These are better than others I have had from another supplier. Better quality and much brighter, even though rated at the same 6000K output. Would not hesitate in ordering from this company again.

These were purchased in Sept 21 . Unfortunately one of the fittings started to flicker after approx 2 years , there is nothing that can really be checked in the fittings . It could not be used as high rate of flicker was uncomfortable to be under I made contact with the Morris UK customer support via a contact form on their website and followed this up with a call to the main number . After a quick discussion they checked the Amazon reference number , confirmed my contact details and sent out a replacement unit FOC .Great support , it certainly seems that they do honour their warranty provided . I have updated to 5 Star .Installed Sept 21The fittings are quite flimsy and light , but that does not effect the light output in anyway . The cool white is pretty much like daylight , so ideal for a garage or shed .The brackets for mounting are a bit flimsy and the method of latching to the body is a bit fiddly . clipping it on and off when on table is fine but once you look to mount on a surface there is no way of getting behind spring latch to fit on to body . I improvised by using two small plastic trunking lengths to mount brackets onto . Then the installation of fitting is a easy , wish I had known that before I started !The other thing to bear in mind is that the fittings only come with a two wire flex . That’s fine as it’s a Class 2 fitting , no Earth required . But there is no where to connect any cabling , and no bearly any space in the recess on back of fitting for cable to run run .My install was straight forward as the 2 fitting were on separate switches . So I manage to have connection at end of each fitting , using trunking for the cabling .

Pros:- Nice and bright, casting a reasonable wide area of light underneath, despite their slim profile- Very shallow, so good for low head clearance (I have an old garage with low beams)Cons:- The wiring does not have a sideways exit from the body of the light (no channel to route the wire out), so if you're surface mounting the wiring you will have a problem. I ended up having to make spacers to mount the whole light away from the surface, which defeats the purpose of them somewhat. Not the best design choice.- The clips are awful. Not as pictured in the store page (nor the number of fixings), nor as diagrammed in the instructions. They aren't even a great fit, causing slight bowing of the light fixture itself as it is so lightweight. They definitely need a rethink and redesign as they let this product down.

Once installed the light looks good, is very cost effective and very bright. The unit is very light weight.The wiring is very straightforward just a power and neutral to connect, the light fitting is flush to the ceiling not a lot of room for bulky connections.The only thing that lets it down is the poor quality brackets, a little more design thought is needed.What I did was to lower the brackets by adding a couple of washers between the bracket and the ceiling, this ensures that the bracket then clips on to the back of the light fitting . There is a very small gap between the light fitting and the ceiling but this is not noticeable.
