Wonderful and Easy to Use Angelus Leather Filler
I recently used the Angelus Leather Filler to repair some cracks and scuffs on a pair of leather shoes, and I was impressed with its effectiveness. Here’s my detailed review: Ease of Use — This filler is very easy to apply—it has a smooth, creamy consistency that spreads well over damaged areas. I used a small spatula and my fingers to fill in cracks, and it dried evenly without excessive shrinkage. Sanding after drying helps achieve a seamless look, especially for deeper repairs. Flexibility & Durability — Once fully cured, the filler remains flexible, which is crucial for leather items that bend and move, like shoes or car seats. Some fillers tend to harden too much and crack over time, but Angelus holds up well with daily wear. Color & Paintability — The filler dries to a neutral off-white color, making it ideal for customization. It absorbs leather paint well, and after applying Angelus Leather Paint over it, the repair blended seamlessly. Best Uses — This product is great for repairing cracks, scratches, and small holes on leather shoes, car seats, furniture, and jackets. However, for larger holes or deep gouges, multiple layers or additional reinforcement may be needed. Pros & Cons ✅ Pros: • Easy to apply and dries evenly • Remains flexible after curing • Paint adheres well for a seamless repair • Made in the USA with high-quality materials ❌ Cons: • Not suitable for large holes without reinforcement • Requires sanding for best results • Only comes in a small 2 fl oz size Final Verdict — The Angelus Leather Filler is a high-quality, flexible repair solution for leather items. It’s easy to work with, durable, and blends well when painted, making it perfect for minor cracks and surface damage. If you need a long-lasting fix for worn-out leather, this is a great product to have.

Smooth, Flexible Leather Filler That Works Well for Small Repairs
I used this leather filler to repair a small tear/cracks on my car seat and my couch, and it worked very well. The filler goes on smoothly and dries flexible, so it doesn’t crack or flake after it cures. A little goes a long way, and it sands down nicely to create a clean, even surface before applying paint or dye. It bonded well to the leather and created a solid base for finishing. The fact that it’s made in the USA and designed specifically for leather is a big plus. If you need to fix small imperfections and prep the surface for repainting, this is a reliable filler to have on hand.

A Good Product with One Major Hurdle
As a beginner in restoring leather goods, I felt a mix of nerves and excitement when I tried Angelus Leather Filler for my leather sneakers. The brand is known for quality paints, so I hoped this would be the right fix for some minor cracks and scratches on my first project. After testing it out, I found it had many good qualities but also one significant issue that prevented it from being a five-star product. A Newbie's Dream (Almost) I used this filler on a few small hairline cracks and some minor scuffs on my sneakers. Its smooth, creamy texture makes it easy to apply with a small spatula, filling in imperfections perfectly. It is very flexible, which is important for high-stress areas like shoes. This flexibility keeps the repair intact without cracking. It also sands down well, creating a smooth surface for painting. For someone new to this, the application process was simple and clear. The Major Flaw: Drying Time My main problem, which stopped me from giving it five stars, is that the filler never fully dried, even after waiting for several days. I applied thin layers as recommended and let each one cure for 24 hours. I even allowed one sneaker to dry over the entire weekend, but the filler still felt a bit tacky. This made me worried that it would stay soft, leading to paint peeling off over time. For a product that claims to be a durable repair option, this was a big disappointment. Final Verdict I give this product four stars. It is easy to use and offers a good, flexible surface for minor repairs, especially for beginners. However, the long drying time and the fact that it never seemed completely cured were major concerns for me. If you are working on very minor projects and have plenty of patience, this might work well for you. But if you need a strong, quick-drying repair, you may want to look for other options.

Very stretchy so the hole doesn’t break open
I use this on fixing purses, it stretches on vinyl and fills in the holes very well, I wish they made it in black tho.

This product worked very well for restoring a century-old leather-covered violin case.
I used Angelus Leather Filler and Angelus Black Acrylic Leather Paint to restore the exterior of a century-old violin case. It worked very well. The Filler is a crème, the consistency of house paint. I used a 3/4” craft paintbrush to apply it (built up low areas with a few applications, sanding between them). When the product dries it feels like rubber erasure. It is sand-able and paintable. The Acrylic Paint brushes on very smoothly and covers well.

Works as described
Leather in a car is subject to wear, and when there are scratches, they usually are unsightly. I tried all kinds of remedies, and nothing worked. This was my last attempt of fixing the leather on the door handle, and to my complete surprise, this worked. It takes some time and prep, but it seems to have fixed all issues, and the repair is not even visible. Perfect texture and color match.

Easy to use
Used for fine cracks and also filled a couple of burn marks. Has held up well. No cracking or separation even on the holes that I filled. I used a spray on top coat
