Teapigs Earl Grey Strong Tea - Strong Black Tea Bags with Darjeeling, Ceylon & Bergamot - Bold and Zesty Blend - 50 Temples

I was given my first bag of Teapigs Earl Grey as a present a couple of years ago. I will never buy any other brand of Earl Grey now! The aroma of the bergamot and the look of the vibrant blue cornflowers on opening the bag are divine, and make me smile each time I use it. And yes the taste matches that promise. For the record, the bag reseals perfectly and the aroma and look don't deteriorate at all. I also love Teapigs ethos around eco issues. Btw, my kids have recently developed a strong desire for Earl Grey tea every time they come home!

Really tasty product and economical packaging. Great tea for the morning or evening. Good portion size too and have a good colour to the strain. My only gripe is the the plastic bag the tea bags come in, hoping tea pigs are working on a different design

I've been drinking Earl Grey daily for about 20 years and have tried every brand ever known. I have developed a kind of immunity to the aroma so I have found it increasingly difficult to detect the bergamot scent which I love and was resorting to using double tea bags! I discovered the tea pigs bags which I loved but they were just so pricey that I only got them when on offer as a treat. So I was delighted to find this loose leaf version which smells amazing and strong enough for us veteran Earl Grey drinkers. I bought a couple of those sit in the cup tea strainers and I've never looked back! I get the Everyday Brew version for my husband and he cannot drink anything else now either. Lovely and strong and no papery teabag taste. The large packs are very economical and eco-friendly too. Highly recommended!

An excellent alternative - if nearly twice as expnsive- as my usual choice of Twinings loose leaf Earl Grey tea. I read a review which said, correctly, that this brand lets the buyer know the type of leaves used (whole ones) and that the flavours, particularly bergamot, are natural. The result is a clean, fresh superior taste which I would recommend to those who care about what they put into their bodies. I drink a lot of Earl Grey, and some Lapsang Suchong, and now I need to find a reasonably priced example of the latter. Only four stars because the package contains 250gr, half of which needs to be stored after opening for quite a while. Let us hope it retains its freshness for two or three weeks.

The best tea, strong and aromatic

I buy this for my husband. I can't stand Earl Grey tea but he loves it and this is his absolute favourite which he and my son drink every single afternoon. The loose leaf version does go out of stock occasionally and he's so in love with it that I buy 8 packs at a time. I wish they'd do black or decaf tea in loose leaf versions because we prefer the adjustments to strength we can make with loose teas.
