3M 3392G Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream, 92 g Tube

My GP replaced this barrier cream with another one which is definitely not as good as this one. This is great for areas of very dry skin and areas where pressure sores are starting to develop and has prevented them from getting red. It's quite thick but not greasy. It sinks in really well and quickly. You don't need to use much for it to be effective. It's unscented.

Use sparingly and it lasts for months. A very effective barrier cream.

Cavillon is particularly good to use to avoid pressure sores. I have tried many other barrier creams over the years, but I have always found that they are not as good and long lasting. I always end up in going back to this particular cream.

Serves its purpose well. Not always available in local chemist.
