Excellent light and value
I use these extensively for my snake vivariums and they are perfect! I tend to use self tapping screws in to the roof, and they are light enough to be easily supported. They are very bright at 100%, and the spectrum of colour is entirely configurable. For someone buying these without prior experience read the manual, the setup is straightforward once you understand it, but not necessarily particularly intuitive if you wing it. Very little heat seems to be produced after 12 hours of running. The customisable timed modes are excellent at simulating a true day/night cycle and help my snakes keep their rhythm. My smaller previous version lasted the entire life of the vivarium, and I have no doubt the 4ft version will as well. I dare say these are perfect for amphibians and aquatics as well (probably designed for aquatics actually). I suppose if I was forced to think of a downside that would be that the control panel can’t be turned off, and so is lit by fairly bright white light all the time. Not really an issue though!

Easy to set up
If you want an Led full spectrum light for your aquarium, don't waste your time sizing up like i did for couple months. You need this one though go for slightly bigger size that fits your aquarium and you won't regret. The 24 hour timing fluctuations are identical in this. I ordered seoura led full spectrum too with this one but it didn't have the slowly building fluctuations of light up and down. But this one does. Great product

GREAT LIGHT
I did a lot of research over several weeks for a good, bright LED light. I had this one in my basket then it came up on a deal. So I bit the bullet and got it. It was about £54 at the time. It is adjustable and can fit different-sized tanks - BUT - I glued the arms in place as they were quite loose and kept moving. Now it's perfect. The controls are a little complicated to work out and the instructions are not very detailed, but I got there in the end. It does reset every time the power is turned off, which is annoying, so I don't bother keeping the time and timer settings on. I only wanted to use it manually anyway. So I turn it on and off as required. I have no live plants so didn't need the timer facility. A basic turn-on or off button, then a selector button to choose a colour, or two quick presses to have the colours change and automatically. the colour change is fairly slow and gradual, which is nice. not sure if this will confuse the fish?! I'm a total beginner - hence all the research. I hope my video shows the changes. I keep this tank in my beauty room, so when I'm doing facials it adds a beautiful ambiance and just the right amount of relaxing light. My customers love it. You have to be careful not to get the light wet as it is not waterproof. Im worried I might inadvertently drop it in the tank! Had it up and running for about two weeks now and seems great.

Buy cheap buy twice
Worked for about 6 weeks then suffered water ingress issues. Slowly started to lose led lights and after about 6 months stopped working altogether. No way to contact seller and Amazon no help either. I would avoid and buy from a reputable aquarium store instead. Don't be fooled by 100% rating over past 12 months as that is not accurate if you look at just a few reviews.
