This Gimbal is lightweight, fits nicely into my pocket and is easy to carry around. It offers quite a lot of functions with intuitive interactions. You can tell it is well-designed and of great quality. It’s easy to fold and unfold, the phone grip is nice and tight. The wheel that controls the directions is very sensitive which is good, but I'll need to practice a bit to get used to it... The Bluetooth connects fast, the APP is easy to use and offers different recording modes (see the image). You can choose to have a better resolution or smaller size. Besides doing what a gimbal should do, it does track my partner quite accurately when he moves around in the lens. I had an Osmo pocket and I've got to say XbotGo does a better job tracking objects! If you have a kid who participates in sports activities, this gimbal will come in handy, but I use it for casual dog walks and trips. Hopefully one day the app will add a function of tracking pets, and that would be fun to play with!

The product and app is great value compared to other options on the market. I use it to track junior football games and have been really impressed with it. Once you have found the settings that best suit the conditions and speed of filming required the accuracy is 90% plus.

Having reviewed other products on the market, I choose the Blink Focos primarily because of the price point. I regularly record my under 11 teams matches but have found that either I had to point the camera in one direction (therefore capturing only half the match) or rely on a parents to move it (with varying results). I used the device for the first time yesterday for a 9 aside football match (soccer for our American friends). Alongside the Blink Focos, I also purchased a 12ft stand. Having never switched it on before the game it took me 5 - 10 minutes to get it connected to my phone (an iphone 13) using the Xbot Go app. Initially I struggled to get it working correctly, I hadn't screwed the device on to the stand fully and failed to line up the camera centrally. Once I corrected that it was off and running. It's worth mentioning that during filming yesterday there were very high winds, however the device seemed to handle it well. The app is fairly intuitive to use but the documentation a little lacking. It took me a while for example, to work out how to make the recording available in "my photos" on my iphone, I eventually found a video which clearly showed how. A small grumble was that details are not provided on how to log on to the portal to download clips in the cloud, when I found the manufacturer portal and tried to reset my password it didn't recognise it and I am still not sure if I am logging on to the right place. Having downloaded the video clips and watched them back I am fairly satisfied with the output. In hindsight, I should have set the camera back a little further from the edge of the pitch to enable the camera to capture images in the corners closest to the camera. The AI is pretty good and captured most of the play. High balls occasionally got lost and fast balls forward didn't always get picked up however the camera recovered the ball quickly. The auto zoom worked very well. The footage can be a little jerky when watching it back, I suspect, if the camera was set a little further back and higher it would capture more of the pitch which would have helped. Also the strength of the wind on the day of recording probaly caused issues. I didn't have an opportunity to test the live feed. Pro's - The price point is great in comparison with others on the market. The software is intuitive. It was easy to setup and get running. The device feels well built. No monthly fees. It is a lot better than relying on someone to move a camera or having a static recording. Con's The documentation is lacking in some areas and should be improved. The footage was a little jerky (this could be due to the setup and positioning of the camera). The AI used for the ball tracking has some room for improvement (it was good but not great). I estimate that up to 10 - 15% of the footage was missed. Summary - It's not perfect but given the price point and hopefully improvements to come on the AI via the app I am pleased with the investment we have made. If you have £1000.00+ to invest and are ok with monthly fee's there are better quality options on the market, however, if you are working on a budget and willing to accept that it's good but not perfect the Blink Focos is a good investment and one I would recommend.

I’ve been using this football gimbal for three times now, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. It has significantly improved the quality of my football videos without any fuss. Battery life is more than sufficient for my needs. In conclusion, if you’re looking to step up your football video without breaking the bank, this gimbal is a solid choice. It’s reliable, and delivers good stabilization. I would recommend it to fellow football enthusiasts looking to capture better footage.

I bought this product to record my team's football (soccer) games. I've tried to record 6 games now. If seems to follow movement the only problem with that is that it can snap to players that move any where on the pitch. Once during a corner it decided to pan to the opposite goal ? It will follow people that are not even on the pitch. It was suggested by them that I don't allow people to walk Infront of the camera it's almost as if they think that every player on the pitch including the keep chase the ball around the pitch. Using the recommended 4m tripod you only realise the camera didn't capture most of the game until after the game. In theory it's a good idea but in practice it's not great. You'll probably miss about 50 % of the action. Because it's following anyone walking near the camera, it will follow random players just because they are moving when it should be following the action in the game. It also randomly pans left to right for no reason even when it's following the action. Hopefully they can improve the Ai in the future.

When I set Xbot up on the field, so many people come and ask about it. Surprised to see the Xbot gimbal can track the players automatically. It's a perfect recording solution for football lovers. It follows the actions well and the livestreaming function is really useful.

2º comentario: Actualización después de un tiempo probando XbotGo Después de probar mas de 10 partidos, tengo que reconocer que casi he dado con la clave. 1- 1.5 o 2m detrás de la linea de banda del medio campo. 2- Bloquear la inclinación y que solo vaya de derecha a izquierda. Opción del HF del estabilizador. 3- Angulo de 140 grados, configurado dentro de la app. 4- Trípode P4, altura superior a 3.5m. 5- Atención automática con autozoom. Esto me dio muy buenos resultados. Se a de ser consciente que algo te va a perder, pero con iPhone 13 da muy buenos resultados. 1er comentario: De primeras se ve buen aparato, buena calidad… ayer grabe un partido de futbol, no sigue la pelota… detecta a alguien cerca y lo sigue… para grabar un partido de futbol de 90 minutos visualizas menos de 45, el resto llega tarde o ni enfoca… lo tengo en un tripode de 4 metros. Sin decir que no se asome alguna persona sin pelo, calvo… ese si que lo enfoca muy bien! Entiendo que no sea lo mismo que las cámaras que están especializados en grabar partidos, pero si se vende como eso… es muy justo… O mejora la IA de seguimiento de pelota o no me queda otra que devolver el producto y buscar otra opción!

I have used this gimbal mostly for my kid's basketball class. It is easy to install, and the app is user friendly. All I have to do is to attach my phone to the gimbal, pair the bluetooth, turn on the gimbal, and then choose the right sport type. Overall it is pretty accurate in auto tracking. This smart little robot truly knows what it is supposed to do. It follows the movement and it is able to zoom in at certain times. Sometimes it loses its track, but it will quickly look around and find its object. I cannot wait to try the Soccer function when summer comes!
