£30 DIY job which ended up saving me £250
A good paint brush, some scrim (plastering gauze), some old clothes and some good old fashioned sunshine is all that was required to patch up my garage flat roof. The product I bought was black to match the felt colouring. The thickness was second to none and it went on like paint. In parts where the felt had worn through more, I reinforced the paint with scrim. The drying process took around 1 hour courtesy that yellow ball of fire in the sky.The same night it rained but the next morning the patchwork was intact and no leaks through the internal ceiling. The roof should be waterproof for at least 1 year.Absolutely brilliant product. Do not go for the cheaper alternatives.Highly recommended by this user!

Sealed My Leaky Roof
My garage felt roof had a couple of holes and a few loose seam joints. I put this down to the extreme heat during the summer of 2022. The results was water ingress into the garage (not good). The stuff did the job and saved me £1000 on a new roof. How long will it last?, only time will tell! but confident it will hold out for a few years yet, plus I have loads spare if I need to retouch. Does what it says on the tin!!!!

Works perfectly for flat roofs easy application.
Well because of a low angle on my shed roof I started to get bad leaks ,nothing seemed to work ,thought I was going to have to spend hundreds on resolving it ,tried alsorts nothing worked..until I used cromapol, it sealed the roof perfectly first coat ,went on very easily in cold wet weather mid winter aswell ,so far it's holding up very well ,I'll protect it with some aluminium cromapol later to stop uv damage ...so far so good ,well reccomened, and useful for anything not just roofs ,I sealed the shed timbers to stop wetrot getting in .I meant to buy grey but mistakingly bought black ,but worked perfect either way .

Best sealant I've ever used.
I had leaks on an old flat felt roof, and no roofers available! Inspection showed a split in the felt was the main problem I could see. A youtube DIY tutorial by a roofer suggested Cromapol, in conjunction with 'scrim' (thin fibreglass mesh on a roll about 2 inches wide, but you can get it wider) to reinforce splits or seams/joins. The advice I followed was to clean and dry the roof as much as possible, put some Cromapol on the split/repair/join, then put the mesh on, apply more Cromapol on top of the mesh - which I applied with a brush and sometimes an old pointing trowel for a smoother finish. I did this on the split and other areas that looked dodgy. This method gives a thick coating of sealant firmed up by the scrim which should prove durable. For me, so far so good, and I've saved a lot of money!

Does what it says on the tin
This is an amazing product which is well made and does the job efficiently. It was easy to use and apply with a simple brush as I only need it for small patches. Most likely for big surfaces would have used a broom or something similar. It's been a few weeks now and even in pouring rain there is no water coming through. Would definitely recommend and fyi try to clean the surface properly and make sure it's dry!

Quickly fixed leaky in garage roof
Recommended by a roofer to provide quick fix for a leak that developed on my garage's burnt felt roof in the heavy rain we had. Has worked a treat. Very impressive. Don't know how temporary a fix it is but did its job. Its not the easiest to apply - i used a cheapish paint brush and rather than try and clean it it was easier to bin it.Considering doing whole roof area or ta least the felt joins in it until such day can afford full roof replacement.
