A Wonderful Resource
Obviously a lot of games to choose from, and those I did use in my first 8-14 year old drama classes seemed effective. Repeated use of many games should narrow down the best ones. Grouping by goals and with age indicators a big plus.

Great exercises
My wife teaches an after-school drama class for kids and she said that this book has a lot of really great ideas in it. Her students seem to like it, too.

My grandson enjoys acting so I thought I'd help him out. Maybe a little advanced for 9, but he'll grow into it.

Not what I expected
For the price, I was expecting more exciting different game ideas. These are all very generic. I didn’t find this book helpful.

This is a great resource!
I love this book because it has great ideas for drama class for getting the students to open up. It has very unique ways of expaining concepts of theatre. I love that it is for all ages from preschool to high school and it is a great supplement to other resources. I would highly recommend this book to any teacher who needed creative ideas. This book came very quickly in great condition. Thanks!

Very good for introducing creative play!
While not directly about "Drama", this book offers great games to get children thinking fast and exercising their creative muscles. I am having a lot of fun using it in an introductory drama class for 1st to 3rd grade chilren. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for ideas to use creative play groups more than for teaching specific dramatic techniques. It's about the fun of imagination!

A useful book for any drama teacher
As a Drama club teacher/ leader I am always on the lookout for resources which are suitable for the work we do with primary school age children. This is a very inspiring book which brings together both drama and play. There are some very imaginative 'Drama games' which engage the children's imagination and are clear and helpful to the teacher. I would thoroughly recommend this book to any teacher/ drama club leader. It's age range covers children and young people from 4--18 and has something for every teacher/drama club leader, no matter what age group you students are.

Good for all ages
Used this for the four weeks doing a drama club. The ages went from 5 to 14 and the games are brilliant. Really easy to adapt when needed.
