The Bridge (Detective Louise Blackwell Book 6)

kinky
Good detective work and fast paced action drive this mystery. Louise might have paid more attention to Thomas and Emily, but in the end, a solution was found.

As always an intense thriller.
This is a continuing series and it is best to start from the beginning. It is an intense, intricate and a bit creepy plot. This one is not for readers with claustrophobia. Realistic characters and twisted villains. Also a good police procedural.

Well Done
I enjoyed this 6th novel the most of all the others in the series. I’m sure that I will continue on with this series until the last installment.

A haunting case
Louise faces a truly evil case rooted in family abuse as she faces her own family crisis. What is done to the victims is execrable. Louise deals with morning sickness as she follows the meager clues, breaking her time with scans of her fetus with disturbing results. An engrossing tale, which I recommend to all murder mystery buffs.

DI Blackwell does it again!
You don’t have to read all the prior books to get the feel for this book. Louise is usually juggling her personal life w her job but this time is more confusing…she is pregnant and concerned for her job as well as how it will impact her parents and her young niece. Meanwhile Louise and team investigate a body found in a shipping container…the ending is astounding and a bit heartbreaking. Looking forward to the next book.

This is a Happy/Frightening Story
As usual, I loved this Det. Blackwell story! And it has a very happy ending. Thank goodness! But, what a crazy (psychotic) whirlwind of a ride for the reader. I couldn’t put it down and raced to the finish to discover all the answers. This book is a real treasure!

ahhhhh
A nice wrap up to a peculiar investigation into a death at a yard full of shipping containers - dovetailing messily into a missing persons case - or two, as Louise faces her greatest challenge yet - impending motherhood.

Brilliant
Thoroughly enjoyable story, the characters come alive and draw you into the drama. Having a good background to the key players makes for a much more gripping story because you are invested in these people and want them to succeed. The whole series has been good and I look forward to the next one.
