Beko BA52NEW 50cm High Level Gas Cooker with 4 Hotplate Burners in White

It was delivered on Time by two helpful men. I had a problem at first as the back left hand burner would not ignite and when I lit it with a match as soon as I released the knob the gas stopped coming through. It seemed to settle down as the day went on but when I turned the gas down to simmer it would be fine for a while and then ' go out. After a few days it sorted itself out and is now working fine although I haven't yet checked the oven calibration.

This is a great gas cooker BUT the ignition on the grill at the top didn't work when it arrived. Seller tried really hard to get this repaired. A Beko engineer came out twice to look at it but we never heard from them again. We gave up in the end trying to get it sorted. Too much hassle for a small thing. The rings and oven work fine. Not the biggest of ovens but fine for a small family.

Perfect just what I wanted and reasonably priced

Very disappointed in how it came, I had to pay £70 for the cooker to be put together, I bought the same cooker many years ago and it came whole, I would never buy one again, w had to have takeaways for 3 days as we had thrown the old cooker out in anticipation of delivery and then had to wait for a man to come and build it

We bought this locally as it was relatively cheap, but we soon found you get what you pay for. It's adequate, but has several irritating design faults. The 'eye level' grill, part of the appeal, is so far away from the overhead heat it doesn't so much toast your bread as slowly dry it out. The protruding handles, by contrast, are quite close to the front hobs, so if you are using the hobs as well as the grill they become too hot to touch. The gas goes out unless you hold in the dial - a safety feature that soon becomes irritating. And the oven! Well, it does cook, but you need to bear in mind that if something says 20 minutes Gas Mark 6 on the packet then it will need at least 30 minutes on Gas Mark 7. And so on. If you're planning on cooking a turkey in this oven, you do need to put it in early.

Hob and oven is fine but the grill does make a slight irritating noise but otherwise it ok

Burners are not hotplate, but standard type. Otherwise cooker is as advertised.
