Better than expected .. Would work well with any decor . Heavy and sturdy Definitely not for small children to play with if they pulled it over .

Truthfully, when I ordered this, I really did not know what to expect. Frankly, I expected it to be much more flimsy than it is it seems to be very sturdy and holds quite a bit of my canes and umbrellas. The only thing I did when it arrived before using it Was to put a round cut out piece of rubber foam at the bottom so in case I or somebody was to put an item forcefully it will not break the ceramic bottom. But I truly do think it’s extremely attractive goes well in my house, and appears to be very well-made.

Umbrella stand chosen to replace one I had that was too wide and would tip easily. This one came and although lighter tones than in picture, it still blends well with foyer floor. A nice surprise was the cylindrical insert and little pads on bottom. Holds a very large golf Umbrella. I would definitely buy it again.

I bought this for my husband’s canes and walking sticks and I’m very happy with both function and appearance. Guests comment on it’s beauty regularly!
