A Must-Have Tool Kit for Plumbers and DIYers!
I recently purchased the Easy Tapsplitter TK-BAC-001 Tool Kit to tackle a stubborn tap head nut, and it turned out to be a lifesaver! Here’s why I’m impressed:Effective Design: This kit is specifically made for releasing tap head nuts, and it works flawlessly. The tools fit perfectly and provided the leverage I needed to loosen even the most stuck nut without damaging the fittings or twist in the tap off its connection. No need for multiple spanners.Build Quality: The materials are robust and feel premium. The kit has a professional-grade construction that can withstand heavy use. It’s clear this set is built to last.Ease of Use: Even as someone who isn’t a professional plumber, I found the tools intuitive and easy to handle. The instructions were clear, making the process straightforward.Versatility: The kit comes with multiple sizes, so it’s compatible with a range of taps and fixtures. I’ve already used it on a few different jobs, and it worked each time. Needed to buy additional hex attachments but not a problem as it works so well.Value for Money: Considering the time and frustration it saves, this tool kit is worth every penny. It’s an investment that pays off quickly if you’re doing regular plumbing maintenance or repairs. Would be better if they included all sizes of hex heads to save having to order extra when you’ve planned to start the job.Overall, the Easy Tapsplitter TK-BAC-001 is a fantastic addition to any toolkit. If you’re struggling with tap head nuts, look no further—this kit gets the job done efficiently and without hassle. Highly recommended!

Did a brilliant job
This is a very smart piece of kit, it’s easy to operate and freed my stuck tap in two minutes. You can use it on any size standard tap so will be useful in the future. So much cheaper than a plumber I would recommend this product.

It Works (If it fits)
I strongly suspect the tap I needed to disassemble hadn't been touched in over 50 years (i.e. since the house was first built). There was a high chance of wrecking the pipes as with spanners I'd already reached the limit of force that I felt was safe. This tool solved the problem with ease and no stress on the pipes. The only issue is that it only comes with hex adapters for the most common modern tap sizes. None fitted mine. Fortunately, a web search revealed that the manufacturer does also sell a set of additional hex adapters for other sizes. But they don't sell them through Amazon so you need to go to their own site if you hit the same snag.

Easy to use and worth it
This is a great product especially when a tap is struck. I managed to open the problem tap in less than five minutes including setting up the product. Worth the money.

What a brilliant piece of kit
I never do DIY, the problem usually finishes off worse than when I started. So when I couldn't turn the nut on the tap .. when force threatened to twist the tap in its fitting .. I gave up. Then I found the Tapsplitter. Nervous at first as usual, I followed the very clear detailed instructions. Everything worked spot-on. Within 20 minutes I had removed the stubborn nuts on two taps effortlessly. And I had replaced both taps. In 20 minutes! Never repaired a tap before, first time ever. The kit is remarkable, instructions crystal-clear. It works! Effortlessly. Taking me as a guide, the kit is idiot-proof.I don't write reviews either. First time ever too. But this review had to be written.

Be careful with the hex inserts sold with this kit ...
Be careful with the hex inserts sold with this kit as it does not cover all types of tap nuts out there. ABD will charge you extra for buying other inset sizes. You only find this out when you buy this kit and try out. There are some YouTube videos showing this issue and wish I had paid more attention :(The insets are also made quite tight fit to standard ‘theoretical’ sizes and enviably you will come across small tolerances for different taps e.g. in my case a small difference of 0.4mm ….just a small difference such as this stuffed my job!!BTW: I did manage to open the nut using the tool with a much larger inset BUT with some packing material to make it a tight fit.So the tool does work but not as snug or “Easy” as in the title ….So beware!

Fixes taps that won't turn on or off: Easy with this tool
I had read reviews of this tool and watched a video from this seller [...] who is the creator and maker of this product which has been on Dragons' Den on UK TV it said. I decided to invest the £23+ and it was totally worth it. I used it on UK taps.It allowed me to undo quarter turn ceramic taps on a washbasin that I had been unable to undo after 10 years of ageing and that were no longer turning on. It simply allowed me to undo the taps that I had tried to do with spanners unsuccessfully. It did it without brute force and with zero damage to the taps and basin. It prevents force with a spanner forcing the tap to turn around in the basin and potentially damage the water pipe, too. It saved me a £60 call-out for a plumber and I can now easily fix bath taps as well with this kit.It works with ceramic quarter turn taps as well as traditional rubber washer taps. The kit is neatly packed in a clip shut foam-filled plastic box that is ideal for storage until next needed. Instructions are included and the video is even better. It also has a range of rubber tap washers included, too. Ceramic valves have to be bought and at a well known DIY store I paid £18 for two of them (red and blue - hot and cold).I thoroughly recommend this product and I have absolutely nothing to do with the creator and vendor. I am simply totally pleased at avoiding having to use a plumber and pay a massive bill for what takes 10-15 mins with this tool.
