I typically use the liquid Wella. Let me tell ya... I'm buying this one from now on. I picked this one only because it was to be delivered sooner and I was in need (if ykyk). It toned even my stubborn darker blonde pieces. I've been doing my own hair for 15+ years and *big oops* put on dry hair for the first time due to being in a rush and not thinking straight (do not recommend). It toned too far and looked dull, I was sad. Shampooed twice with a clarifying shampoo and it's EXACTLY what I wanted. Thank you thank you! For those saying it did nothing, please remember to mix 1 part toner (this tube) with 2 parts 10vol developer. Make sure to stir well. Do not use a metal bowl. I use a plastic bowl from Sally's and a brush applicator or plastic spoon to mix. Wear gloves. This 2oz tube + 4oz of 10vol developer. I have very thick wavy hair so I did 2 tubes (4oz toner + 8oz 10vol developer) myself for enough coverage and worked great. Definitely recommend if you do it correctly. Review: Awesome Toner! - Did exactly what I wanted it to do. I had used a home kit to highlight/ bleach my hair. It came out a gold yellow color, but I wanted to try and get it more ashy and hoped the roots would blend better too. Let me tell ya, this toner covers a multitude of sins. Gold yellow turned a nice ashy blonde and still kept some warmth. And wow did it tone down my roots! They blend so much better now. I used the wella 10 developer in a 2:1 ratio just as it says and let it sit for 20 minutes. Little to no damage to my hair either! Only used half the bottle so I can do it again in a few weeks. Gonna buy more to have on hand!

Good product if you follow the directions
It's a good toner. But I think my application probably didn't get the best of results because my hair wasn't fully bleached all over. The other mistake I made was I didn't pay attention, the back of the label on the box says to use 10 volume developer, and I used 20. However, the color still turned out nice and light, not frosty like some other people have with reviews that look beautiful, but it took brass out like I wanted and has a platinum hue to it. Regardless, beautiful, as long as you follow the instructions correctly. I'm still happy with it. :) I did use sensitive scalp developer at 20 vol. Instead of 10 vol. Next time I will use the exact recommended items listed on the label. I still do give it 5 stars and would recommend it. :)

Great
So I been doing this for awhile bleaching and toning my own hair. I never leave it on the instructed time for future reference for bleach always eyeball it or go based off of the packaging but for toner you can leave it on as long as you want. Your hair is not gonna fall out if anything is just gonna make it more effective, so I left this on for a good minute. I walked my dog. I cleaned my house and I left my hair a really nice color. Oh btw I never been to a salon for dying my hair in the 5 years I been bleaching it. Am definitely buying this again

Didn’t quite remove the brassiness, but it’s a beautiful color
It didn’t quite remove the brassiness from my roots.

Love the color but only lasts two weeks
This toner gives bleached hair a nice light grey color and helps reduce the yellow. Sadly, it doesnt last long. Even rinsing hair with some conditioner a couple times a week causes it to fade. Not cheap, the cost adds up, so I had to stop using.

Polar Ice
I'm a 54 yo woman with long, fine, naturally curly 3b hair. I've been coloring it for years with Loreal Cream Permanent 9NN. My roots however, are mostly white. Not grey or silver, but very white, so even a T18 was more color than the root and I'm ready to allow the grow-out to happen. My daughter did a bleach on the mid-shaft down to get the blonde out and put an Olaplex treatment as a layer of protection. We put the toner on using 20 volume and left it a total of 40 minutes covered with a platic bag. This toner is much gentler than the liquid. It barely had a smell. I washed it with purple shampoo starting from the ends first working my way towards the roots, making sure of full saturation using cool water. I let that sit as I showered, not hurrying. After thoroughly rinsing in cool water, I gently worked a curl friendly conditioner through and finished my routine. The color came out absolutely beautiful! It's even and a true polar ice; matching my natural roots better than I could have imagined. We went to the city the next day to shop for my g-sons graduation party and I had a salon appointment for a shape-up. Everywhere we went, we were asked about my hair: whether it was my natural color or which salon I went to. My daughter was beaming as the complements came her way. She only does her and my hair as a hobby-not trained. If you're looking for a toner that's going to be gentle on your hair and come out the color you want, this is a good one. You can't hurry it, but it's worth the ending. My hair is soft and shiny. Someone asks about it everytime I go out. Most importantly, I absolutely love it and see myself going through the trouble of keeping it up. *unpaid/unsolicited review *

Did the opposite of what I got it for...
I don't know what else to do but laugh at the results from this (I got the T50 pink blossom). I know plenty of people have had a good experience, but I guess I'm the combo breaker. I have naturally dark brown hair that was lightened to a 10 at my tips, tapering into an ombre balayage. My stylist shaded the ombre into a rose gold tone which has gradually faded over the last 6 weeks, although there was still a pinkish tinge to a lot of it. I thought this toner might be better than some of the simple color deposit options, since my color was a bit warmer than I wanted, so followed the instructions - mixed with their 10 developer, I even left it on for a bit longer since my hair has proven to be somewhat stubborn, according to my stylist. Rinsed in cold water, conditioned, dried... and every single bit of rose/pink that was left in my hair is gone. Now, everything is just a slightly less warm blonde. Again... not sure whether to laugh, because what?? There isn't even a suggestion of pink, not the teensiest tinge. I'm so confused. lol But hey, I guess it cooled the color down a smidge?

Update: January 2025, I am updating to say two things. This is a beautiful toner, the Polar Ice shade, however the seller seems to have stopped selling it since I first bought about 6 months ago. I checked multiple times and it was never there. 2nd thing, it works well for lower damage, especially when paired with a 10 vol developer, it's substantially less damaging than Wella T18 however it doesn't last as long. It will tone level 8-10, better with 9-10. I use a water filter in my shower, I wash would cool water, use purple shampoo and conditioner as well, k18 + occasional clarifying shampoo to remove build up, it lasts about 3 weeks before brass starts popping up. T18 lasts about 5-6 weeks in my hair with minimal brassy sections. It's an okay toner but I did find it more budget using - beauty wellness - for buying either. ______________________ Original Review: (July 29 / 2024) It’s actually cheaper on Amazon than locally at Sally’s right now. I weighed the product because lately a lot of companies do shrinkflation but I’m happy to say it was more than the product weight and I felt satisfied that it was the actual amount of advertised toner. Worked great, used with a 10 vol on my very damaged bleached hair I didn’t experience a lot of extra hair breakage. It even temporarily unified some not lifted enough areas leaving my hair a bright white/slightly lavender hue. My hair wasn’t bleached properly so I’m very impressed with how low damage and higher cover this is.

I was really impressed with the COLORCHARM Permanent Crème Toner! It toned out the brassiness in my blonde highlights beautifully and left my hair looking soft, shiny, and cool-toned—just like I wanted. The crème formula was super easy to apply and didn’t drip or make a mess. Plus, it didn’t dry out my hair like some other toners I’ve used. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable toner that delivers professional results, this is it. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

This toner was the perfect shade I wanted. It worked perfectly with the 20 volume developer I used. Obsessed!

The color is great. I neutralized the yellow tones nicely. I'm glad it's pastel and not too bubblegum. But I wished for it to be a little more pigmented at first, knowing it always fades quickly after the firsts washes. I let it process for 20 minutes on dry freshly bleached hair.
