This is THE BEST carpet cleaner there is. It doesn’t leave a heavy scent, and it doesn’t attract dirt after cleaning like so many others do. This really thoroughly gets rid of urine, leaving no trace of pee smell after, without just covering it up with a bunch of perfume (it IS scented, but it isn’t overpowering and fades really fast). It also gets rid of food stains, really well, as in mustard and hot sauce off a cream sofa! It’s so good that I always have a spray bottle of the diluted solution with my cleaning supplies for small spot cleaning. Also, this is a bottle of concentrate, it gets diluted quite a lot in the carpet cleaning machine, so this bottle will last a long time, even with a puppy or sick/old dog. It’s a really good value once you realize how much you use.

This works well when used as intended. The best part about it, however, is that the smell of the cleaner is a very light citrus smell that DOES NOT LINGER AFTER CLEANING!!! Too many "pet stain cleaners" have completely overwhelming added scents to cover up whatever your pet did to the carpet. The smell of those cleaners can be worse than the mess, and fills the house for days. They give me migraines, and I can't tell if they actually cleaned the carpet, because they prevent me from smelling if the soiled spot is still holding on to the smell. In contrast, this cleaner is not overpowering. You can smell the carpet while you clean with it, and tell if the smell from the pet's mess is still lingering in the carpet. The smell does not give me a headache or make my eyes burn, even while I'm cleaning with it. It really is a godsend! I'm so sensitive to odors, and was worried this solution would be worse than the problem, but it's perfect. The scent of the cleaner doesn't fill the house, and fades quickly. When I'm done cleaning, I notice the smell, but it's light and not distracting or overpowering. After a day, I don't notice it at all while in the same room. After a few days, I can only smell it if I lay my head down on the carpet. And I know my carpet is really clean, because I would still smell the mess if it weren't. Thank you for a great product!

Tengo una gatita bebé que se orinó en mi sala, era imposible quitar el olor. Con este producto quedó limpio y eliminó al 100 los restos y olores gracias a su fórmula de enzimas. Si tienes mascotas, este es el mejor producto para lavar tapetes, muebles, colchones, etc. No necesita usarse mucho producto. Lo pongo en mi máquina Biselle.

I couldn’t live with a dog without Bissell. I have a large and a small machine but it works on small spots without any machine. I just pour some on, let it sit a few minutes and sponge up to take out stain and smell. Great product.
