It arrived earlier than expected, which was great! The packaging was perfect, very sturdy, so the box came intact. There were no tears or bumps, anything that could damage the cards.

Solid starter deck for new players. Cool cards for LOTR fans.

At standard MSRP, you get a thematic deck that is the weakest of the 3 Lord of the Rings decks. I found after a few quality of life improvements it was fun to play and matched the value of the decks.

This was my first precon and some people told me that most precons where poorly tuned and had problems playing against "meta" decks. To my surprise I have won some games against very strong decks with this one. I switched a few cards, nothing too crazy. Cool deck to play if you like making strong tokens. Your board will scalate really fast if the other players don't get rid of your stuff ASAP. Cool oprresive deck.

,I buy these for the rich, unique pictures on the cards. These are works of art. However, the artist portrayed Aragon as a black man. That fell short with me since the books and the movie adaptations says that he is "of fair skin". I still like the art by the way.
