SALVE Psoriasis Coal Tar Salicylic Acid 100gm((3.52 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I've only had this a few days, maybe 3-4. I hate putting on gloves and I use "finger cots" instead. I hate having greasy fingers and having to work hard all day to try and keep from touching anything. What a mess. the cots solve this problem. I go to a dermatologist and have been using many different creams, lotions, emulsions, and clobetasol proportionate cream on my hands. I have psoriasis out breaks on the back top of my head also. I can't believe how this cream has outdone all the prescriptions I've got around here. Been dealing with this for about more than 16 years and this has worked faster than any tried before. The clobetasol doesn't work as well anymore. Maybe I'm getting immune to it. The improvement in the 3-4 days I've been using this cream on my hands is absolutely amazing. No matter what you use, it's going to take time for healing. It's not an overnight thing. But I have went from looking like someone took an axe to my hands (including bleed cuts and large crusty hardened dead skin leaves and the resulting pain) to no pain, the leaves are mostly gone, my fingers are feeling softer and more human, and the cuts are pretty much healed and it's not nearly noticeable if someone isn't looking directly at my hands. I feel much better. And, I'm not having to follow around myself wiping cream off of everything I touch because of the cots. With this cream and the cots my hands do not feel hot and greasy, and I can do a limited amount of touching. With the cots, the cream stays on and inside the cots. I recommend that if you're a newbie to psoriasis and your fingers are involved, you get some cots which they sell right here on Amazon. Might as well go with a bulk buy as this stuff is never going to leave totally. It will keep reappearing and you'll be fighting this the rest of your life. And, I'd get some of this cream too... I am at home more days than not and I put this cream on my head when I'm sure I'm not going back out. I then shower and wash my hair an hour or so later. First, I use regular soap and then the prescription shampoo to get this medication out. It has the look and almost the thickness of Vaseline... close, but no odor. The ingredients, coal tar and salicylic acid, are the best OTC medications for psoriasis from my experience. Very few creams have both, very few are this thick and easy to apply and have a stick-to-it-ness that more efficiently demonstrates staying power. I believe I've tried everything available and spent hundreds of dollars. This cream, in my opinion has worked best. Otherwise, I couldn't do this review just three days after I started using it. Used dermatologist prescribed treatments that didn’t work, but this did. My skin started getting better after 3 days. The itching went away after 2 days. There was not a strong scent, which i love. Using a small amount goes a long way. Highly recommend for psoriasis or eczema.

This salve is just a skin moisturizer. I've used it for about a year, and my psoriasis has not changed. I do not have the scaly, flakey skin that I would have if I used nothing, but as far as helping the psoriasis it did nothing. When you smell it there is no tar smell or anything that indicates there is some medical ingredient in it, it just smells like salve.

Definitely helps with the plaque. Got rid of the extra skin and just left the redness. Hoping it will go away soon. But so nice extra plaque skin is gone!
