Sturdy with gradual slope. Temporarily using a walker for injury and non weight bearing leg. The gradual slope seems much safer than trying to hop over a threshold on one foot whether going up or down. Highly recommend if you are reluctant or feel unsafe. Be sure there is enough room for the ramp.

The 3ft length seems correct for my entry door which has a 4inch rise. Wheelchairs and loading dollies seem to work easily. The folding feature and light weight about 18 lbs makes it very useful. Note as other reviewers have pointed out the folding ramp with the handle positioned so that the handle is in the center of the fold (therefore positioned by the hinges) so when you fold it does not need to be locked. If the handle is on the outside (side opposite the hinges then it will need to be locked when folded or will unfold when you attempt to carry it folded. This ramp stayed put in use for me and I did not need to fasten it down.

Easy to set up and remove. We have home meetings once a week and one member has a scooter. We have a 4” step into our house. Before the men would carry her over the threshold and others would lift the heavy scooter inside. She felt bad having to disrupt things to help her in, she almost quit coming. With the ramp, my husband just quickly puts the ramp in place, up she goes into our house! After she leaves, he removes for the next week. Easy peasy!
