ZhengSheng 6.4" Fixed Blade Hunting Knife- Genuine Leather Handle Bowie Knives with Sheath Straight Edge for Camping, Hiking, Survival

I have purchased both the 6.4” MACVSOG copy and the 5.8”. Quality, craftsmanship, and blade sharpness are everything I could ask for in addition to being among the most beautiful knives I have ever owned. Either would make a valued gift.

Got this to replace my late father's official U.S. Navy knife, which I handed down to my nephew (who shares my father's name). Was worried that quality wouldn't be as good, but that does not seem to be the case. This ZhengSheng knife seems as well made and rugged as that ~70 year-old knife I gave away. Of course, it's not yet had the years of use, but so far using it for general outdoor work it feels solid, with nice heft and balance, and works well, holding its share edge just fine.

This knife is extremely sharp. I shaved a small patch on my arm just to prove it to myself. The knife quality is very very good. I was disappointed with the sheath quality but I do my own leather work and made my own sheath out of Herman Oak leather. The knife is really a fine piece of equipment!!

I just received this knife today. I wanted to see how this knife compares with some of my other leather handled knives. The leather handle was finished nicely; everything fit tight. The blade came out of the box very sharp. (3) things kept it from being a really exceptional knife: 1. the blade had small gaps where is joined the guard; will not affect its use, but it's part of the fit and finish. 2. The blade was a small angle (from vertical). This will not affect its use but....3. The sheath is very pedestrian. It is still an excellent knife for the money. These little things will keep if from competing with the big boys.

This is my third knife from this company. Some Chinese knives are poor quality, but not these ones. Excellent workmanship and really sharp.

I wanted a knife half that size for my husband, its very nice and he can use it outdoors for cutting sticks and camping use. well worth the money, it shipped very quickly. just wasn't what I was expecting but I'm a woman trying to buy a man a knife! LOL

The knife itself its amazing a very nice weight and length and the blade is very sharp but the sheath is kinda crap it feels flimsy and i feel it could tear pretty easily but other than that this is a must buy knife
