For some reason, Amazon wants me to talk about the following: I guess folks ask some silly questions: It's softness, it's not super soft wood, and the net itself is some sort of rubber. It's a net, so uh yeah it's easy to use, answered that question. Magnet strength, uh, zero there is no magnet... I see the other similar nets boasting of having magnets, not sure why you would even want those. Also, they mention fishing ability; it's a net, so every fisherman should have a net. Lastly, I have not had any issues with the hook rusting and falling out of the handle. Apparently, some other sellers on Amazon say that will happen with this net, and not theirs, but after several years of use, no issues there on my end. That's the end of the silly questions. If you read this far, thank you, and give me a thumbs up! Bottom line, it's a good net, no pun intended!

This net is great for trout, crappie, bass, and other similarly sized fish. The stretchable cord is nice because you can secure it to your vest, backpack, or waist and not worry about losing it. The only issue I had was the metal crimp on the cord cut into the cord on my second use and caused it to break. I used pliers to remove the metal crimp and tied the cord into a knot so I don't have to worry about it breaking again. Pretty good value considering it is essentially the same as nets that cost 2x as much.

Great net, however; the shock cord (sling) is a bit too stretchy.

Got sick of using my 20+ year old cotton net and having to dig or cut the hooks out of it, so I got this for this year's trip to South Dakota. Absolutely love it. Never got a hook embedded in the rubber netting and seemed easier to remove fish from.

A vary nice net. Durability is there and it is help me land so many fish.

Great net!! Used for a week of trout fishing and its a very good bet! Buy urself and extension to hook to your fishing vest. I did and kept it in the back pocket of my fishing vest then pulled out and netted fish when needed!! Awesome product, very lightweight

The quality of the net is pretty good. Unfortunately the design was not great for what I needed. I mostly fish a small creek that has brook trout and a few cutthroats here and there. Anything about 12” and under can fit its head through the holes and get its gills stuck through the net. It can be tough to get their head back out without over handling the fish. I ended up trashing this and buying a similar net with smaller holes.
