These are truly beautiful, high-quality, whole oat groats - I'm already using up my second re-order fast! I grind them dry in my Nutripro to exactly the degree of fineness or coarseness I desire (takes about 8-10 seconds), only preparing the quantity I need freshly for each baking. Then I make them into oatcakes and breakfast cereals of different kinds. The results are absolutely delicious, and a very important part of my diet, as I can't have bread, yeast, or gluten. Very tasty and healthy
Good value for money and easy, manageable sized bags.I cook these in an instant pot for around 25 minutes and then leave to soak in the milk/water for a few hours and it's like delicious porridge texture. The groats are chewier and nuttier in flavour but that doesn't bother me. I'm just happy I can achieve a porridge texture with a whole grain.

High quality product
For some reason we had problems sourcing oat groats from our usual high street suppliers this year, and turned to Amazon as a last resort. In the future we will skip the high street and stick to buying this.This makes great porridge.And that is a sentence I never imagined I'd have to write on the internet.

Finally some organic oat groats
Couldnt find any in shops as they had sold out. Ordered them online and had them within moments, well a couple of days. We grind them in our mill and they make lovely porridge.
