Sturdy, usefull but getting smaller
This is the second one of these I've purchased, one for the car and one for at home. The first one was purchased two years ago and is larger and came with a better storage pouch. The other I bought at the end of 2023 and it is not the same as the first. It's smaller, lighter and has two separate pouches for storage. The first one is no doubt superior but the second one is still a useful and functional tool. These things are great to have in the back of the car for emergency situations and I would recommend this one even though it seems to be shrinking. Definitely more useful than NATO style entrenching tools and sturdier construction too. Very useful when wild camping.

Excellent quality and comparable to others that are twice the price.
I am ex military and still quite outdoors orientated. I want good quality product, that fulfills its purpose. I have no space or time to carry sub standard equipment. This shovel is lightweight and a really sturdy build. The shovel is ideal to dig a decent hole and equal to any military entrencing tool.THEN it's got lots of other little additions, that turn it into something much more. It really is a good survival tool.THEN it's got good quality and finish and looks amazing, and hi-tech.It assembles easily and smoothly. The shovel head is hardened and can do more than dig a hole. Great item.Only sad thing is that all the time and design has gone into the shovel. The fabric case is very thin nylon webbing. More than adequate for storage but is lacking, when compared to the actual tool. I'll be using a seperate carry case.Definitely buy this, its easily the equall of others than are double the price. I've ordered another, my son stole mine straight away.Look and works better than described.You'll not find a better one cheaper.
