It's a great replica of the real MCL36, and being officially licensed adds a nice touch of authenticity. However, the build quality is a bit on the flimsy side. The plastic feels light, and up close, you’ll notice the finish isn’t quite as polished as you might expect for the price. Also, ground clearance is just a few millimetres – like you observe in real F1 cars, but this is not so much for practicality. It struggles with carpets and any slightly uneven surfaces, and trying it outside on the driveway led to scrapes underneath. Best to stick to smooth, hard indoor floors.The remote works well with a decent range, and I like that the steering control can be fitted on either side – very handy if you’re left-handed. It comes with a rechargeable battery for the car itself, but just a heads up, you’ll need to pop in a couple of AA batteries for the controller.The car is very fast, but if you drive inside you will hit the walls and objects, and if you drive outside, you will significantly scratch the car's undercarriage. The tyres are also very thin like a balloon. So if you drive in rough surfaces, you are likely to get your tyres worn out pretty fast.Overall, its a great car for kids. anyway, I wont think it will last that long with a kid.. :)

Bought the 1:18 McLaren and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and details. It's a great model to display, with the addition of being a basic RC car.The controls are basic "on/off" style switches and there is quite a bit of input lag. The turning circle is huge too, better for outdoor use.There are also a lot of stickers to put on, which I wish was done at factory. And I would have liked to see the driver modelled in too.Overall, very happy with this, as a cheaper alternative to a diecast model, while being able to drive it around too!

Bought for my five year old boy who's a Ferrari fan. But after getting this, it was a bit hard for me to part with this beautiful model. Very high quality with all finer details, stickers are a beautiful addition for someone to customise. Very durable. RC control is very good. Battery life is good enough. More like a showpiece in your office desk or mancave. Very valuable for your money.

I have mixed feelings about this car. It looks amazing as a replica, and the attention to detail is really good. You do need batteries for the remote. This car struggles on carpet-based floors as there is very little clearance, but it works well on harder floors.Overall our nephew loves playing with it when he comes over, it does seem a bit expensive.

Really nice quality toy car, perfect for any young and old Ferrari fans. It was larger than I was expecting so that was a bonus! Definitely recommend. :)

Great looking RB F1 car. My son enjoyed putting all of the stickers on. Not really designed for racing however as it’s generally slow and has a poor turning circle.

This ain’t very fast and the battery life is poor. However, as a model it looks great and has decent attention to detail.
