This is the BEST cane chair. Light, easy to use. I originally bought the series 2 but this is much better balanced as a cane. The series 2 came part is thick like the width of 3 canes. This is one cane thick. The 2 other legs of the chair fold up. Great design!!

This sturdy cane opens into a decent chair that supports me while waiting on line or when I want to sit in a park or on the beach. Easy to open and close with a gentle twist. Make sure you watch the instructional videos. Brought it on a recent domestic short flight and was able to store it in the overhead bin. Make sure your plane has at least 60 seats so the bin is large enough. Great invention.

It works for me! This combination cane and seat was the right choice for a large political rally, and I expect to use it while waiting for city buses. The handle is appropriate for walking or for sitting and looking contemplative. The seat is easy to deploy and fairly easy to retract. Some words of caution: 1. We’re to sit on the tiny seat with the handle in front. Testicles seem none the worse for the wear. 2. When used as a cane, it’s well balanced for walking but asymmetrical visually, with colored plastic on the right and folding aluminum rods on the left. 3. It won't replace my everyday cane. It’s lightweight for a chair but heavy for a cane. Hold it out horizontally and invite backache. 4. Not safe for small children because of the possibility of pinching fingers in the mechanism when folding or unfolding it.

We bought the Ta-Da chair for a trip to the Holy Land. Being a Senior Citizen I like to sit down as the tour guides explained the places we visited. In the past, standing while guides talked took some of the enjoyment of the experience. This time a simple twist and I could sit down to listen to. A quick snap and ready to go again. It’s light and works well as a cane. Easy to store and gave us no problems getting through customs and airport security. Every where we went people had us demonstrate it. We love it and continue using it around town. Yes, I would recommend it!

I purchased this for a friend with arthritis who finds walking long distances and standing around waiting a challenge. I was able to get it to him just before he left on a trip to look at properties in some semi-developed parts of Nevada. He was able to safely rest when needed on the sturdy seat despite being in an empty field. He also had no problem traveling through TSA checkpoints and boarding/exiting planes. Definitely recommended.

This chair/hiking pole with the funny name has been a game changer for us. It is very light and doubles as a chair and sturdy cane. We've owned it for several months. The mechanism works perfectly, easy to set up and fold. It is sturdy as a cane, maybe a bit short as a hiking stick, but surprisingly comfortable as a temporary resting chair. However, the photo on the site shows the chair backwards. The "front" of the chair is the handle of the cane. The pole goes between your legs. Makes a nice book/map rest. If you sit on it with the pole sticking out the "back" the chair is not stable. Pay the extra for the aircraft quality aluminum.

It arrived broken. If not, 130lbs kid was too heavy for it. My father is about 180lbs, he probably would’ve gotten injured using this. Maybe I’d have a different opinion if it arrived in good condition.

Went to Bulgaria and did a great deal of walking. The seat was very, very handy. Very happy with this product. No problem in brining it on the plane.
