This is a very good addition for any sewing basket and indeed could be used for safely cutting fine or coarse string. Can be hung on a fine chain, which is very handy. Useful, and a very nice gadjet to have, Delivery was very good. Thoroughly recommend it.

Great product as now means I can cross stitch on a plane. Didn't know this existed but am on a xstitch fb site and someone mentioned it !
