Great book with easy to press bird songs and information inside about the bird. Brought for a friend who loves birds and now has dementia.

Clear lovely sounds and just the right amount of information

Excellent resource for my bird club with 7 year olds

My daughter (5yo) and I love this book, we have another one in the series which is also great. The sound is clear and precise and the information provided is just enough for a child to gain basic knowledge of each bird and not too much that they lose interest. It’s also just loud enough that if you take it outside you can use it to ‘communicate’ with the birds, we’ve had a number respond to the sounds, which is wonderful and adds another element of interest for children.

My 2nd purchase in this series, with my personal preference being for the 'Garden Birds' selection however, this is not meant to take from this one which is also attractive to all age groups. Irritating background noise on the buzzard sound recording. I found the reviewer's 'contents listings' of all 3 books, of 27/5/21 on the 'Dawn Chorus' site, to be indespensable.

Ideal for activities for those with Memory loss.

This was bought for my elderly mother and she keeps it beside her. She can’t really see to read so it is ideal. I don’t know how much she used the Garden Birds one but we had to replace the batteries in it (tiny round ones) so we will keep an eye on these.

I have ordered all of them. My family, and my grandson who I purchased them for, love these books. They have beautiful illustrations of birds and their habitats and lots of written information to go with each one. It is so much fun and interesting to hear all of their sounds. My grandson has learned so much. He can now identify every bird just by it's song. There are also some other types of animal boooks from the same author that are just wonderful too. They are very well made too. I definitely recommend them

My 3 year old loves this, however we are in Western Canada, and these are British birds. Nice sturdy pages and the quality of sound is excellent.

The book is good quality, we were just disappointed in the bird sounds. They are less recognizable for a young child.

These books are incredible! Big beautiful pictures of each of the birds, facts to read, & the sounds are lovely. A children's book older children & adults can enjoy. Most noisy childrens books aren't things I'd have in my home, but then someone makes something like this & it's a real treasure.
