MagformersLog Cabin 48 Pieces Rainbow Colors, Educational Magnetic Geometric Shapes Tiles Building STEM Toy Set Ages 3+

Knowing we would be hunkered down at home for atleast 2 weeks (when I ordered) I wanted to purchase additional magformers for my sons ages 8 & 4. I stumbled across this set while looking for the “basic” set. I am so glad I ordered both the 87 piece and 48 piece Log Cabin set. They were so excited and spent hours building various configurations. They are having so much fun they even shunned their many LEGO sets. I highly recommend for any occasion but knowing what most of us are going through the next few weeks with homeschooling, et al it will be well worth it to invest in great building toys that will break up the cabin fever most kids (and parents) will endure. I personally have enjoyed playing with this set. I don’t know why previous reviewers complained about the book, missing pieces or not easy to assemble. Wouldn’t be enough to play with alone, but goes great with our other magformer sets. 5 year old loved it. Toddler liked the tree, but found the cabin pieces frustrating— they’re plastic pieces that clip on to the magnetic ones. Once you add them, the piece no longer stacks because the plastic interferes with the magnets and he couldn’t understand why his towers no longer worked. 4-6 would likely love this set.

It is fun and well made set for kids. But It is not compatible with my original magformer block. So girls didn’t play with it very often. They love their original set more.

These are awesome, we are having so much fun building! It comes with a book that is easy to follow for putting different cabins and scenes together. I am not good with Legos, but these magnetic building blocks makes building so easy. Parents worry about their kids swallowing the magnetic pieces. My three year old uses these and has not put them in her mouth, but as with everything supervision is good for little ones. We will purchase more of these.

Still a big hit for my six-year-old, who was dying for the log cabin look ones. She loves these and we have given many sets as gifts since they appeal to a wide age range.

Very durable and fun to play with. Can be creative to make your own designs or follow their instructions. Great for young kids and can be used with other magnets.

These were a birthday gift and the little boy’s mom said he loves having something he can make with them. He’s had just a box of them before, but no specific building activity.

They will come for Thanksgiving...

Pros:-Magnets are inside the pieces so less swallowing risk-2.5 year old loves it and stays occupied-fun if Cabin pieces are snapped onto the regular magnet pieces or if magnet pieces left plain-encourages creative play-easy cleanup-doesn’t hurt if you step on pieces-perfect for car/restaurant-doesn’t take up a lot of space to store it-adults like it tooCons:-expensive (we waited till it was on deal of the day)-2.5 year old needs help to snap on/take off the plastic cabin piecesOverall: Total winner

I ordered these magnets for my granddaughter, she loves playing with them. I thought the log cabin theme would be great to add to her other sets.
