I purchased this comuputer about a month after I broke my last one. After setting it up, I really like it. I did have trouble setting up my printer/scanner. However, HP support team helped me. It is easy to use, Occasionally something pops up and I ignore it because I do not have the knowledge or the skills, The kepboard is nice and responsive. The biggest problem is my screen, it is too bright and am still working on getting that fixed. Would I buy it again? The price was reasonable and I lke it to use Word and Excel. I had not worked on a computer for years after my stroke, so this is a learning curve because much of it has changed. But it is realatively easy to use, like the color (red), keyboard is easy to use. My ccomputers usually last over 5 years and this is one of the best--and I have had several since 1996, Very satisfied with my new HP,

I didn’t want to get the cheapest computer, nor the most expensive. But I needed one to replace the obsolete one I had. HP is a good brand, and they didn’t disappoint. The only problem I had was that it didn’t play any sound. Luckily, I have some computer savvy and was able to rectify the situation. It works just fine for my needs.

Update: AMAZON CAME THROUGH FOR ME RE THIS DEFECTIVE LAPTOP--THANK YOUBeware of 3rd party sales. If you purchase an extended warranty, do it thru Amazon not HP.Purchased this laptop and a couple months beyond the warranty the hard drive failed. I purchased an extended warranty and submitted a claim. The specs for this laptop do not match the HP specs. Was told the laptop was upgraded by the seller so HP will not warranty and repair it. So, no have a piece of junk laptop that I paid extra for extended warranty. Was told to check with Amazon re repair.
