Not so much used in Eastern part of India/ Not a Sichuan Pepper
I recently discovered Triphal/Teppal, and I have to say, it’s a game-changer for my kitchen! While not commonly used in the eastern part of India, especially in West Bengal, I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did. It looks somewhat similar to Sichuan pepper, but the color is different, and the flavor is truly unique. When added to a masala mix, this spice elevates the aroma and gives a delightful fragrance to non-veg dishes, especially curries. The earthy, slightly citrusy notes blend perfectly with meat and fish, making the dishes stand out with an unforgettable taste. Only smell not useful for test,aroma in dish
Trifal has smell but when use it in food no test or aroma.It's a dry product , remove all the juice from it.
