Barbie 1995 Collector Edition 1960 Fashion and Doll Reproduction 12 Inch Doll

Cheaper than a second hand repro on eBay and shipping from New York was free for me; being a Prime member.

She's perfect! A 1960 reproduction issued in 1995, she looks exactly like what I'd expect to see sitting on a store shelf. The only thing wrong with her was that her box had a crushed corner. But, that wasn't a problem for me as I wasn't looking for a perfect box, just a perfect doll. She meets that perfectly! A reproduction of one of the original style dolls, she's shaped differently than the 1990s Barbies I grew up with and are much more different than the Barbies made today. Her toenails, fingernails, nostrils, and lips are delicately painted a light red. Her eyes face downward in a sultry expression. The dress! Don't get me started on such elegance! She looks like she's just stepped out of the silver screen. Barbies today, even with their fancy dresses, don't seem to pull of the same regal look as the 1960s Barbies do. I'm very glad to have her in my collection!

An amazing collector item worth every penny!

This doll is quite beautiful and the dress is gorgeous. I had to take her out of the box as the elastic in her hair had deteriorated and had to removed. Other than that, very happy with my purchase.
