Olivia Ocelot Comes to the Rescue: Adventures in the Rainforest

The illustrations are a horrifying mix of digital art added on top of what looks like hand drawn illustrations. They are crudely cut and pasted to form the scenes in the book. There are also a number of illustrations that are heavily pixelated. Overall it looks really awful. I was so excited to find a children’s book about ocelots and this was a big disappointment.

Fantastic children's storybook about an problem-solving Ocelot who introduces the reader to the major animals of the rain forest in her search to find a solution to the story's conundrum. Terrific addition to any teacher's library about related topics, and equally great as a parent's reference for young children about the rain forest biome.

The story is captivating and informative. the art is wonderful. One of the most interesting book to read to the grandkids for the kids and myself.
