Concise, smart and helpful.
This was a very interesting read. The techniques were thoughtful and well explained. The writing is excellent. I appreciate the analytic bend he takes to trading as well as his recommendations for a more dispassionate approach. I look forward to more from this author.

Thoughtful. Logical. Clear. Well worth it.
Book provides exactly what it says. Matter of fact, easy style of writing means the concepts are completely explained. The step by step chapters start off slowly and then build to have substantial complexity. The beginner really will benefit enormously from the breadth and depth of the information presented.

Excellent use of statistics and probability
The chapter on Trader Potential Income and the binomial distribution was incredibly eye opening. I totally agree with the author with regards to how important it is to understand the variation in trade performance month-to-month so that you don't throw out winning strategies. The entire approach to risk managemen incredibly well thought out and structured. There again, with supporting math that no other trade gurus include in their books. Also appreciate the DAS trader hotkey tutorial!

Learned more than dat trading with this book!
I loved it. Excellent beginner’s guide to day trading. Very easy to read and follow, despite being pretty heavy on math in some chapters. The concepts were explained well with easy to follow examples. There’s a lot about brokerage accounts, DAS Trader hotkeys, income simulations, and risk management that I have not seen discussed elsewhere. Chapter 5 alone is worth the cost of the book!

A well-written book, covering the topic in an entertaining way
I really like the author's writing style. His analogies are spot on. The book makes clear the risks of day-trading while also describing the difference between investing and gambling. The companion online resources will be very useful and fun to play with once they're complete. I'd love to try out the strategies covered in the book in the online simulator.

A great beginners guide with information for the experts too!
I really enjoyed the book and the overview it gave of day trading. As more of a swing trader, the book helped me understand the intricacies of day trading, the strategies day traders have and the importance of risk management. The mention of binomial distribution was also a welcome insight for someone with limited quantitative knowledge. I would recommend the book to all traders!

No Rocket science at all
The content of this book is reasonably ok though don't be fooled or misled by the title. The book title mentions 'NASA engineer' and 'quant' so I had high expectations but *yawn* the book doesn't have anything unique to reflect the authors background. Sadly the author is basically following the methodology of the majority of traders and trying to make a quick buck - hardly rocket science. The patterns it talks about are common patterns - ORB, ABCD and reversals *yawn* again hardly rocket science. I have quant background and have implemented software to confirm certain patterns with orderflow to give high probability setups. I would write a book but I just don't have the time!As usual in these types of trading books these days, you get what you paid for. I had kindle unlimited but because I ordered in advance, I can't return the book as Kindle Unlimited usually allows. Sometimes you buy a book or an ebook and you feel happy and contented to have bought it but in this case I would have returned this book as the title seems to suggest content that is not there! There are just a handful of charts and he author doesn't list any trades the author has taken or any statistical analysis of his trading.Just another trading book to add to the pile or other useless trading books....
