Quality item, perfect price, would recommend to anyone.
This item is fantastic for the money I paid, far exceeded my expectations as I was going for this based on it being somewhat cheaper than the other brand I actually wanted. I usually go for Worx items and was disappointed when I couldn’t get their version soon enough, so I went for this instead, it disappointed at all and glad I paid less for what equates to the exact same thing, but with more clamping length. So all is great. The back leg works great as a carry handle and once ready to use it takes about 12seconds to fully unfold and get open to what you need. It is very well built, comes with a 3year guarantee and even if I damage it outside of this time it’s cheap enough that I can simply buy another one and say it’s paid for itself. The price of this item W orks out to 9pence a day over 3years of use within its gaurantee. That’s brilliant. So functional, has given me back a spare hand when trying to clamp up multiple layers of wood for jig making, properly satisfied. May even yet buy a second to use then as clamping trestles. Don’t wait, just get this it’ll make all the difference. Oh and it doesn’t take up a whole heap of space in the garage either.

Excellent portable tool.
I purchased one of these last year and have since bought one for my son, so I suppose that speaks volumes. The item is heavy and very sturdy when in use. It folds up very neatly when not in use. The clamping mechanism is foot operated which is a bonus because you can hold your item with both hands whilst clamping in place, unlike a traditional vice. It holds items very securely. If purchasing one i would suggest investing in the tripod that helps in supporting long items, I have just bought one and wished I had earlier.

Excellent clamping system. So versatile.
I heard of this product whilst researching saw horses on a forum and I'm very glad I did! I originally purchased this, together with the optional log jaws, for sawing up felled timber but have since found that its clamping capabilities are useful for so much more. I am astonished at its holding power. I have used it for so many DIY projects in addition to using it as a saw horse and the addition of folding legs mean that it is truly portable. It is so easy to use and so powerful that I am thinking about buying a second one. Fabulous piece of kit!

Very solid and one of the best tools I have ever bought!
I spotted someone at a steam rally carving a wood figure held by one of these in a field. To be able to grip that well was something I did not think possible and it resulted in me getting one. The strength of the vice is amazing, it holds work so steady and its very quick to tighten and then to release using your foot on the leaver. Overall its very robust. The legs are strong and fold out well, although you need to make sure you have pushed them out fully when on the floor otherwise they will move. Once you have them out though its very steady. It does fold up, not something you would want to do all the time but it does save space, although its not that large and you can work around the legs much of the time when its up anyway. Having struggled with the vice on a workmate this a revelation as to what is possible and makes joinery much easier.

The fixed jaw let’s the product down, but I would still recommed it.
The Triton Super Jaws Sa 100E came well packed & surrounded in polythene to protect it during storage & transportation. It is easy to Fold & unfold & the back leg becomes it’s carrying handle in the folded state. In use it is very firm & stable & should you wish it has fixing holes in the feet to be bolted to the ground. It is very well designed & you can slide the back jaws out & fitting in the reverse direction allows you to fit very large items between the jaws. The fixed jaw let’s the product down (hence why 4 stars) It’s like the rest of the product was designed by an engineer & then he left the jaw design to the tea boy that just wanted to get off home. Every time you slide the back jaw out your sleeve catches the front jaw resulting in it either coming away or just plain falling out & which I can see will get worse with ware over time. It just has two straight rubber pegs that fit into the body & are not even an interference fit! Why they could have not put something with a lip on it to hold it in place beats me. You can buy a set of engineer’s jaws from Triton but these come in at half the price of the entire vice. I have posted a few pics & hope they will be helpful to anyone.

Great but a small but
Just purchased my second as having two is so much better and more adaptable. MY first ne was an early one and it has been abused, left outside year round and used for everything from welding to oak framing (50 kg sections) and so forth. One of the best and most useful products I have ever used and the hands free clamping is a must! However my only niggle is the rubber for the fixed and opening jaws, these do not last long, split quickly and the fittings break. (the front fixed? one just falls off) If these could be improved they would be fantastic. I made some bespoke oak jaw liners, quick and simple to make and they take everything into the next level. Also purchased (if you can find them) the log and cast iron jaw fittings, whish are so much better made than the original poor quality rubber ones. Despite this loads of builders contractors and specifiers I deal with have bought one or more based on my use and opinions.

Game changer
I do lots of wood chopping and crafts. I have had clamps before to hold wood but never strong enough. This is a game changer. I dont know why I never bought this years ago. I can now work alone with my wood. This clamps like a beast. I clamped a pallet in it while I used an electric saw. I bought the log jaws for my logs and now with a quick change if "grips" I can easily clamp logs and safely saw wood slices for my crafting. I have clamped wood slices to hold firmly in place while I used my burning tool. This is easy to put up / down and store away. It feels safe. Doesnt wobble. I bloody love it. If i could marry the damn thing i would.
