Please can this lamp work with 220V power source? i actually want to use the lamp in Nigeria i could not find the power rating on the amazon site.

NO definitely not. It is just a little lamp, with a 110 base.do not blow yourself up. I do not know of ANY lamp that would use 220.You might go to the LAMPSPLUS website, you can CALL them, or email them, easily, and they might be able to help you out. I think they have over 70 thousand lampe available............

What kind of light bulbs does it use? Is it a polarized outlet?

Had a 40w bulb in, grand daughter left on all night, the shade partially melted by morning. Fire hazard.

I see a pink one in the customer picture but i dont see the option to select pink?

There is a purple option. The off-white version may appear pink because of the effect of the light coming through the shade. Thank you.
