Not only does this book give you recommended seasons for doing different tasks on the homestead, it gives a high level overview of what you should do to complete the task. The book includes spaces for notes, but I prefer to keep my notes in a cheap notebook to save this book for years to come.

Got the Backyard Homestead book about a year before the planner and it was difficult to keep track on everything. Saw this on sale and thought I'd give it a try.Really informative about seasonal chores and what to check up on throughout the year. Even included a few ideas for projects to get started on later.Wish it would include more loose pages to document yourself or handy conversation tables/estimates for bulk items, but those are my only complaints.Overall 4/5. Fantastic planner and good supplement to the original book.

I love the way this book is laid out, giving succinct advice for what to do, not only each season, but early spring, late spring, early summer, etc. It seems to cover just about anything a homesteader might have going on, with just enough info to get you moving and not get you bogged down. It just helps to have a roadmap of sorts to organize the endless tasks inherent in having land and critters.

I need to read descriptions better. I had no idea I would need to use this as a journal!! I don't.

Pretty good book for 1st timers.

Just got into gardening this year and I wanted to grow mostly edible things to feed my family some healthy real foods. This planner helps give a newbie like me a better idea of what to do and when to do it. Also how to make future plans for expanding the garden.

Good information will be in use for a long time to come

This little book is handy. I don’t feel like you need a big homestead to benefit from it. The guidelines and seasonal chore lists somewhat apply to an avid home gardener like myself. I got enough out of it to be useful and broadened my knowledge on other key topics should I want to expand my efforts and setting. I like that it is spiral bound and lays flat for writing.I plan to build a customized notebook and see this as a starting point to jump in and have a foundation for creating my own, personalized farm organizer.

Great idea for a book

This is a great book and will be very useful however I did receive it damaged. The top of all the pages appear to have water damage even though the packaging and other items are all dry. Very disappointing because this was something I had been very excited for and wanted to keep on display and to refer to in future years.

I recieved it in a timely manner and excitedly began to read it. It is chock full of great information. Only problem is the spiral bound format, I hoped would make it versatile, and durable, became problematic because the pages were all stuck together and ripped when trying to turn each page. Now I have a book with pages that fall out. And no easy way to fix them.

As described, very helpful for beginner gardeners, quick delivery
