Colour was darker than expected, but we all know box dye never comes out the same as the picture on the box, thats expected when we take the risk of box dye! The smell was great, didn't stick of ammonia. Smelt like bar soap, no burning or itching. The condition mask made my hair smell great and it doesn't feel like my hair is fried. Would absolutely buy again

The colour I ordered is BROWN CARAMEL 5.23 I went from the picture and shade guide which showed a pleasant light brown. This is now changed in name to light brown Hazel but with no sign of Brown Caramel but which is also called 5.25.It is exactly the same picture and the colour I wanted ...light brown !!My hair is a horrible flat plain dark brown now close to black with no life in it at all.I've used LOreal hair colour for 18 months now and it has been ok.This time it was a different texture when mixed. It’s normally liquid/creamy and easy to apply. This mixed to a semi solid slop like slimy porridge which slipped off the gloves and splashed and slopped everywhere.I left it on for 17 minutes and it stung my scalp - another new event.It has left my hair straight (it is normally curly), dry and lifeless like straw…and yes I did apply the conditioner included which is usually very good. And I repeat it is a horrible colour. Far too dark and a very flat shade …like a wig.....added 5 monthsl later I never posted the reveiw las August it seems. My hair is sill black with no sign of fading. It dryed my ahir out so that I darent colour it so amd half nousey turning grey with a black base ....can only think it was a horrible packaging mistake my hair is ruined.

I bought this as I wanted to try a semi permanent hair colour after letting my grey grow out during covid. This worked really well and blended the grey so that it looked like low lights. The colour was a lot darker than I expected at first but has gradually lightened and no dreaded ‘badger stripe’! Overall pleased. Have bought another, a shade lighter this time.

Not used yet, but looks great!

The formula also left my hair feeling surprisingly soft and conditioned, which is a definite plus.Also, everybody is asking me where did I have my hair done, and they don't believe it when I say it was done at home by me , that has no experience whatsoever. I have attached the before picture and after. Before I have bleached it at home and tried a pink colour in it, still have orange and yellow tones that no toner would get rid of them. This is the only colour I would use from now on. Also it lifts a bit of my natural colour at the root but not too much, just enough to blend it seamlessly.

I bought this to cover 11 months of grey grow out, as I didn't want to use permanent dye. I am so impressed with the result; it covered all the grey really well, and has a nice natural look to it. The product has a nice smell, and the conditioning treatment smells really good too. I think I will continue to use this as it is much less damaging to the hair, and I prefer the colour result over permanent dye which can sometimes look a bit fake before it starts to fade.
