I needed a small torch for going out during these dark mornings - especially now that street lights are generally turned off in order for local councils to save money. I'm fine with them saving money and not wasting energy but it isn't easy to see even to the ground. My "home" rechargeable torch is rather hefty to carry around and so I looked through Amazon's pages for a smaller, hand-held model. I selected this Blukar brand based on the reviews left by previous customers - something I am always grateful for.The torch is lightweight and fits comfortably in the hand. It comes with a wrist strap already fitted but that is easy to remove. Operation couldn't be simpler (and there is an instruction leaflet if needed), press the button in the base of the torch and the light comes on. There are 4 settings - a bright light, a dim light, a strobe light and an SOS light - which are found by pressing the bottom button. When you have the setting you want, the torch will remember next time you turn it on. To turn off, no need to cycle through all the options, simply hold the button at the base for 3 seconds and the torch will turn off.The beam itself can be adjusted by moving the neck of the torch up and down so you can have a wide beam that lights up more of the area ahead of you or reduce it down to a focused beam that has less spread. Each of the lighting options worked without any problems.There is a charging cable included in the box and this fits in the USB slot at the base of the torch (lift up the rubber seal and replace it when you are finished).I couldn't fault this product at all and have placed it in my shopping bag so it is always with me when I need to go out on dark mornings. Easy to recommend this for anyone looking for a lightweight but powerful torch that will fit in the hand.

Came well packed. No damage. I was so impressed with this torch I bought a second one. For a small torch it’s super bright you can have a wide beam or a thin direct beam. These torches a cheap enough so buy one and don’t get caught out alone in the dark WWWHHooooooo lol. You change them using a USB port and a fully charge touch last such a long time.

Love it! Fast charge and incredibly bright. Light and easily fits in your pocket. A great little torch.

Considering it's size it's very powerful. Charge lasts well and as it's a type c you can use your phone charger. So good I bought a second one for the car.

Useful and very bright but compact torch. My child took it on a school trip and it was perfect for that. It's easily rechargeable, comfortable to hold and great value for money

Lots of little portable torches on the market, but this one gets extra points for being rechargeable. Not just rechargeable, it takes a standard usb cable - one of the newer smaller ones, but still very handy.It’s also very bright. The other features, such as the adjustable beam size, and flashing facility are fun, but they are not really a selling point for me.I’m more pleased with the handy pocket size, the nice strong metal casing, and the amount of power from a single charge. I haven’t need to recharge it yet, and I’m using it most days; as the darker nights are drawing in, it’s a “must have” in my pocket. Another reviewer (Nimpanz - thank you) has confirmed that one full charge gives 5 hours of brightness.I was even in a dimly lit restaurant the other day, squinting at the menu - that discrete little torch was extremely useful.All-in-all, a bargain. I like it.
