It does help me feel more calm and relaxed when my mind starts to race once left with my own thoughts haha. I feel completely fine the next day and it doesn’t make me drowsy or groggy.

I suffer from rabid insomnia so thought I would give Nytol a whirl. OK - the results are a bit hit and miss and honestly I haven't had a through the night sleep at all. Plus the disadvantage is that after years of not having a good sleeping habit a couple of weeks worth of Nytol are hardly going to remedy it and you can't take these tablets long term. Also, a few nights rather than send me to sleep the tablets had the opposite effect and I was wide awake - but valerian is supposed to send you to sleep ! Having used Nytol before I find the results are a bit hit and miss and I tried this one tablet a night rather than two. Depends on how bad an insomniac you are as to the effectiveness of this remedy.

Ordered these on a whim to help poor sleep. All the tablets are white and uniform quality. They have a faintly herbal smell and a sweet coating which makes taking them easy. They're not too big, perhaps a little bigger than a paracetamol. I experienced no improvements in sleep quality or relief, but it worked well for a friend.

Does nothing, other than make you feel rough in the morning.
