Think twice before buying honey at the grocery
Read an email sent by Well Done, article about think twice before buying grocery story honey. The article said look for the label “True Source Certified,” (Well Done article sent February 16, 2018). I checked out numerous online stores; I saw one on Amazon.com (could be more) that said True Source Certified, and that is Bee Harmony. The price is okay for 12 oz. ($10.49). The taste is great, I only needed to use a small amount, learned the hard way with the first time purchase Bee Harmony on February 20, 2018, I used more than necessary. How Bee Harmony package for delivery is like how mother would wrap her child for a cold winter day, taking great care; I will purchase again. Below is some part of the article. Why You Should Think Twice Before Buying Grocery Store HoneyWhat to Know When Shopping for HoneyBecause there are few regulations and several loopholes surrounding honey production and labeling, it can be difficult to know if the sweet stuff you see on your grocery store shelf is actually authentic, explains Hultin. That said there are certain keywords that can help steer you in the right direction. For starters, avoid the term “ultra-filtrated” because that means the original source of the honey is not traceable. Also, don’t be fooled by the name “pure honey.” It’s not a meaningful description, explains Hultin, and doesn’t prevent against a contaminated product. Instead, look for the label “True Source Certified,” which indicates that the honey was voluntarily traced using a third party auditing system.Price can also be a tip-off. “Producing real honey is a time and resource-intensive process and the costs will reflect that,” says Largeman-Roth. “You shouldn’t expect to pay just a few dollars for a jar of honey.”Perhaps you’re best—and safest—bet is to purchase honey from a local farmer.“You can ask them about their bees and harvesting practices which will help ensure that you are getting the real deal,” says Hultin.

because I thought it would be fun to try all of the different kinds
This clover-type is the bees' knees. I bought all five of these honeys, because I thought it would be fun to try all of the different kinds... It was not that good of an idea, in retrospect, because I found I enjoyed the other varieties much less, the further they got away from the "standard".My least favorites do a bit of a switch- the orange blossom tastes like a fragrance used as a dip, however, it's much better baked into cornbread. On the other hand, the berry seemed to take on that characteristic when baked into cornbread, while not doing that nearly as much used as a dip.I'm not going to copy and paste this four times- I put 4 stars on the wildflower, 3 on the brazilian, and 2 on the berry and orange blossom.

taste so good
This honey taste so good. I've never had honey that taste like this. I'm used to buying local honey in my area (San Jose, Ca.) from the late great Frank Carrier who to me had the Best. The size of the jar sent to me was so small. 16 oz. of Honey is only 8 oz.. or 1 cup in a measuring cup. For $20 the Carriers honey came in a jar over 4 times the size as what I got from Bee Harmony. As I searched for honey in stores and other local bee farmers it was clear that the deal I had received from Frank Carrier and his son was no longer around anywhere. Although prices vary, honey prices are on the rise. I'm not saying anything negative about Bee Harmony Honey because it's GREAT! The jar it comes in is 2 1/4 " wide by 5 " high. It all depends on what your willing to pay for the amount received.

Bee Harmony, how honey should taste
As you can see from my photo, this was my second purchase of Bee Harmony Orange Blossom Honey. The packaging box was strong and sturdy with an insert to hold the jar in place. I was very impressed. The clear glass jar allows for the golden honey to shire through. No silly plastic bears from this company. The smell of orange hits the nose as soon as you take off the lid, but even so it does not detract from knowing you have opened a jar of honey. This honey is smooth and silky. No crystallization whatsoever. The taste has a slight floral note, orange blossom duh me, it is followed by some acidity, think orange citrus. Then the true honest to goodness honey flavor kicks in. Sweet yet not overpowering, no added sugar in this jar. Use Bee Harmony honey in tea, drizzled over fresh fruit, pancakes and waffles or smeared on toast. If you like a clean pure taste you will enjoy this product

This is the real deal. Yes, it costs more than the stuff supermarkets call honey, but once you taste it you'll never go back. I bought clover honey to see what it was like and am amazed at the depth and complexity of flavours. Can't wait to try the others. This is how honey was meant to taste!

Delicious
Absolutely delicious. Melts in your mouth and tastes heavenly. Glad to see it was True Source Honey. It's nice to know it is from the U.S. only and has no fillers in it or is black market honey from places like China.Thank you Bees and Bee Keepers!!

I love this honey!
I purchased the American Raw Wildflower and it tastes so good! I can definitely tell the difference between this honey and cheap store bought honey! I use this in my teas and sometimes on a toasted bread and I love licking the spoon, yum!I am ordering the Raw Berry flavor next and will update my comment once I try it! Thank you Bee Harmony!
