I don't travel but sleep in upright position in a recliner due to health reasons, so I have spent a small fortune looking for just the support I need for my head, neck and ears! This is PERFECT! The chin strap makes all the difference in the world! Many variations to use and chin strap position, which is a game changer for such a simple addition that most other neck pillows don't offer Noone likes their chin dropping to their chest while sleeping, especially completely upright. Since I don't travel, I can imagine this would be ideal for airplane, vehicle and bus travel as well since it has straps on the back to attach to a headrest if wanted/needed. The memory foam arrived WITHOUT ANY SMELL AT ALL! Many other neck pillows I have bought have arrived so stinky from the type of memory foam used that they ended up thrown out, but this one has absolutely NO SMELL from memory foam used! It goes around my neck well and the back part where ones neck is, the memory foam is super thin so it doesn't push your head forward like MANY neck pillows do! This supports in a natural position without pushing on your neck! HUGE PLUS!! It conforms to my neck and ears without being too tight or too loose. I position it sometimes to where the sides go up over my ears so it helps tremendously to reduce surrounding noises! Love that feature! Best of all, I finally have a PERFECT NECK PILLOW for my daily upright position sleeping needs!! I'm buying another as a backup since I wouldn't want this one to wear out from daily use and not be able to find another identical one in the future, so another one is being ordered to have for future needs! The number one thing to know here is that on an airplane, this is a COMPLETE game-changer. Because the straps on the back are reconfigurable in several ways, they allow you to securely attach it to the headrest on the plane seat. After that, once you've got the chin strap/closure thing secured in the front, your head is not going anywhere. I currently have a pinched nerve in my neck and I cannot risk falling asleep with my head lolling off to the side. NO PROBLEM. I slept on an SFO-ORD flight for almost the full 4 hours without my head (or shoulders) moving. My body slumped a little downwards, sure, but my head was secured, which also meant I didn't lean forward at the waist. It was amazing. I think it's important to note that the airplane is not the only place this is helpful. As I said I have a neck injury right now so I will wear this sometimes just sitting on the couch watching a movie and it's incredibly effective at general immobilization as well. In the interest of full disclosure you should know that the foam can make it get kind of warm. It's only slightly uncomfortable in this way, but it's important to note nevertheless. The thoughtful design of this device is apparent at every turn — there's a small pocket where you can tuck the chin strap, the velcro tab at the top of that strap can be folded over and attached back to itself so it's not scratching up the surface, and the headrest attachment straps double over through little plastic loops, which helps with storage, as well as adding to the ability of the piece to attach to pretty much any type of headrest, probably even in various cars as well as airplanes. Even the storage pouch is well-designed, with a little buckle to allow you to quickly attach it to the handle of your suitcase or whatever. Keep in mind that you do have to roll and squish it pretty tight to get it to fit inside the pouch, but you'll figure it out, it's pretty easy — just roll it tight like a cinnamon roll and be forceful when you're putting it into the case. I love that it came with little earplugs too, though I have not used them so I can't speak to that. If you're wondering whether it's worth the cost, I give you an emphatic YES. It's not easy to make air travel more comfortable, but this product absolutely goes a long way towards doing that. Bought this on a black Friday sale. I travel a ton for work and really struggle to sleep on flights. This was on sale and had really good reviews so I gave it a shot. Its really comfortable, has a memory foam feel, can be worn different ways, stays in place and supports the neck. I used it on a 4 hour flight and actually slept twice! Once for over an hour and a second time for 30 minutes. Super happy with this purchase. It also rolls up and has a convenient carrying case that takes up very little space. Highly recommend this product.

This neck pillow was okay. I liked the firmness, but it was too high. It squishes my cheeks and ears, and I didn’t like this. If you are wearing earrings, it will be uncomfortable, and you definitely can’t use over-ear headphones. It was awkward even with in-ear headphones. Also, with the front strap attached, I found it a bit suffocating, like it was choking me. So I ended up not using the front strap, but the Velcro was secure, and the strap didn’t get in the way when attached. I did like that it has a flat back. My neck rested more comfortably. And it did roll up easily to fit into the portable bag it came with. I didn't try the seat straps. So, I can’t review that part. All in all, I really had high hopes for this neck pillow based on the reviews, but for me, it was just meh.

I love how it Velcros closed around the neck and it is tall and sturdy to provide the best head support I have found yet. I also love how it attaches to the headrest on most planes so that you can lean on it a little bit. No neck pillow provides perfect sleep, but this is the best one I have found! My husband and I both bought them for a redeye flight almost a year ago and I have taken it on several flights since. I am impressed with the Velcro’s durability and it is still very comfy.
