Gladon CLJR5012B-02 2 Piece Premium Swimming Pool Cover with Securing System (24 Pack)

After exposure to 25 winters my old plastic, one-piece, pool clips started cracking apart and needed to be replaced. I found these two-piece pool clips to be an improvement on the old design. They were easy to install and seem to hold my cover to the pool cap rails even more securely than my original ones did. I fully expect them to be a good, long-lasting product.NOTE: A number of people complained about these falling off during windy conditions. My old ones never fell off and these new ones have already withstood a couple of tropical storm type of windy days without incident. I'm guessing that perhaps it all depends upon the design of the cap rail as to whether these will come off very easily. When installing these new ones to my cap rails there was a very satisfying clunking noise as both the inner and then the outer piece of the clip was installed and locked in place.

Used these this winter. Worked great! More expensive than the normal clips I used before, but the old “normal” clips always fell off. These clips held up all winter and none of them fell off! You get what you pay for. My old cheap clips always fell off and the pool cover was always blowing in the wind. The clips locked down the cover all winter and none of the clips fell off. Highly recommended

These clips made winterizing the pool the easiest it has ever been. The clips are secure, they hold the tarp great. I have a 24 foot above ground salt water pool. I bought two packs of these clips and they did the trick and it gets very windy here, as I live very close to the beach. I am sold on this product. They arrived on time. I don't known why I am having to rewrite this review as Amazon kicked it back once already?

We had an above ground pool that came with the house we purchased. With two boys, we kept an open mind and decided to give it a try for a season or two. When we closed the pool for the winter, a windstorm ripped the cover off. My wife had the idea of finding some clips, which led us to buying these. We had them on for about 2 weeks before we decided the pool had to go. But, in those 2 weeks, the cover stayed on like a champ!

We purchased these for our 24’ Round above ground pool....but we could not use them. Our pool closer tried to get them to stay but said they don’t typically work on plastic/resin material, that they usually hold better on metal framing.

Bought a couple pkgs of these for a 15" round above ground pool. Went on super easily and made closing a breeze. Not sure if the cold winter temps in the North East made the plastic shrink a little or what the issue was....All Winter and early spring we were putting them on weekly...we would find them on the ground..., through autumn was good...but in the end-- thankfully we had tightened our cover and used these as an extra insurance, but they did not keep the cover tight or stay on. I will say none cracked, so if I am thinking it's a temp thing.

These are easy to use and have no sharp edges to damage you pool cover. I bought these to replace the only ones sold at my pool supply store. Those damaged my $300 dollar winter cover with their sharp edges. I saw this type on my sisters pool and was surprised to find there was another type of cover clamp available. These things are great! They clamp on easily and hold the cover well. There will not be any damage to my new winter cover from these clamps!

Had used milk jugs for many years, but these seem to be a huge upgrade. Easy to use, and hold tight even with solid winds. Very happy with my purchase.
